editHello, I'm RexxS. I noticed that you recently removed content from Nuno Gomes (diver) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. editHello, I'm XYZtSpace. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Nuno Gomes (diver), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. XYZt (talk) 23:09, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Nuno Gomes (diver). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. XYZt (talk) 23:22, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Conflict of Interest
editHello, Nunodeep. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Nuno Gomes (diver), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. XYZt (talk) 23:09, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

Edits to Nuno Gomes (diver)
editHi Nunodeep. It is fairly clear that you have strong opinions on what should be included in the article on Nuno Gomes, but you are going about it in the wrong way. Possibly several wrong ways at the same time. This will not work out well. You can continue to edit war (put the same material in when it has been removed for a valid reason), but this usually ends in being blocked from editing altogether. Alternatively you could cooperate with the other editors and discuss the proposed changes on the article talk page, and get consensus for a change. Your username suggests a close connection with the subject of the article. Please read WP:Conflict of interest to see why this should be avoided. Wikipedia has a policy of verifiability, which means that it must be possible to show evidence that an uninvolved third party has published the information that may be included in an article, and that it is an acceptably reliable source. For biographies of living people this rule is strict. If you can provide links to reliable sources we will probably use them to expand the article, provided that the content of the sources is encyclopaedic in scope. No matter how true a fact may be, we do not include it in an article if we cannot provide verifiable evidence supporting the claim. It looks complicated, but is usually quite simple. Find a published source (can be paper or electronic, or even a video in some cases), write a citation describing where in the source the information is published, and add the information to the article in your own words, without distorting the meaning. If you have a percieved conflict of interest (for example if you are the subject of a biography or a family member, ot the owner or employee in a business), do not directly edit the article to add or remove any significant content, rather request the change on the article talk page. You can make minor edits like fixing grammar or punctuation, and you can suggest changes on the article talk page for uninvolved editors to make the change. If you want advice on how to do things the right way, ask on my talk page or on the article talk page. We are generally helpful to people who ask for help.
