SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 16:14, 26 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Adoption

edit

Hello! It would be my pleasure to help you learn your way around Wikipedia. What can I be of most assistance with? I see that you're interested in copyediting. That's a great place to start. You may want to familiarize yourself with the Manual of Style. If you are looking for articles to copyedit that need particular help, here is a list of pages that have been tagged as needing cleanup [1]. You may eventually also find yourself interested in the Guild of Copy Editors. Please be in touch any time. — e. ripley\talk 16:43, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Here is one suggestion I would make - when you are using talk pages, in order to keep them organized we use section headers to start new discussion topics. You can do that by typing ==New discussion title here==, then hit return and start typing underneath it. If you hit the edit button here on your talk page, you'll see I've achieved that here by typing == Adoption ==. Also, you'll want to ensure that you are signing your comments, so that people know who's speaking. You can do that by typing four tildes in a row: ~~~~. When you hit save, it will automatically display your name along with a time and datestamp. Your signature should come at the end of your comments. Hope this helps! You appear to be off to a great start. — e. ripley\talk 16:54, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
