Request reason:
Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 2A02:26F7:C890:7002:0:B0CC:3827:AE6B. Place any further information here. Hello there - I guess I won't be the first person to say that my IP is not a co-host - it's a basic internet account with BT, which, the UK's nations's biggest and most vanilla broadband provider :-). As far as I know BT is not a VPN, but perhaps it accidentally resembles one to you guys. I do have an Apple computer, but I made sure to turn off Apple's VPN. I'd be grateful for your assistance Oiona (talk) 17:21, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
That is a proxy/vpn. Once you disable your proxy/vpn, you need to wait a full 24 hours for the block to clear. Yamla (talk) 19:05, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
On Marianne Githens page, there is a statement which is true but seems a bit gossipy and not exactly related to the subject of this particular page? Is it against the rule sot delete it?
"In 1986, Githen's widowed mother, Anita, married her deceased husband's younger brother William French Githens." Oiona (talk) 09:29, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
- I've converted your link to a standard internal link; the whole web address is not necessary. The statement you mentioned has a citation to a New York Times article, so it will be difficult to just remove it. However, you are still free to bring up any concerns you have about it on the article talk page(Talk:Marianne Githens), especially if you have any arguments based in Wikipedia policy or guidelines to support your position. 331dot (talk) 10:14, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
- Actually, I take that back- I removed it since the statement was about her mother and not her(I thought it was about her at first). 331dot (talk) 10:18, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

FAIRR (Farm Animal Investment Risk & Return) moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, FAIRR (Farm Animal Investment Risk & Return), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi, I am not sure if you'll find this useful, but when building a reference in Visual Editor (like this diff), The Times is omitted as it stands so you have to go into the reference to input manually The Times as the publication. Best wishes, Solipsism 101 (talk) 18:52, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks so much for your speedy help.
- May i ask another question? I'm quite shaky on creating new articles. I've just created a new one about Grigory Grishaev, the new acting head of Russian counterespionage in Ukraine, using my sandbox. Having submitted it, i see the folowing message: "Warning: This page should probably be moved to the Draft namespace." I'm not sure what that will do and whether it's desirable, especially as it's a version of my sandbox.
- On the subject, do sub-groups of editors exist to fast-track new articles likely to be of great topical interest, such as for Ukraine? I'm guessing not, and would understand if so. Oiona (talk) 19:47, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I am not particularly familiar with the Articles for Creation review process or if there is a fast track. I was talking about the ref used in the Sergey Beseda article, which I see is the same ref used in your draft. Sorry I couldn't be of more help! Best wishes, Solipsism 101 (talk) 20:41, 11 April 2022 (UTC)

The Childhood Trust moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, The Childhood Trust, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Oiona. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Reed (company), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;

- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Edwardx (talk) 13:46, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
