edit

Hello, my name is Michael Tsikerdekis[1][2], currently involved as a student in full time academic research at Masaryk University. I am writing to you to kindly invite you to participate in an online survey about interface and online collaboration on Wikipedia. The survey has been reviewed and approved by the Wikimedia Foundation Research Committee.

I am contacting you because you were randomly selected from a list of active editors. The survey should take about 7 to 10 minutes to complete, and it is very straightforward.

Wikipedia is an open project by nature. Let’s create new knowledge for everyone! :-)

To take part in the survey please follow the link: tsikerdekis.wuwcorp.com/pr/survey/?user=76170747 (HTTPS).

Best Regards, --Michael Tsikerdekis (talk) 11:51, 22 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

PS: The results from the research will become available online for everyone and will be published in an open access journal. As a thank you for your efforts and participation in Wikipedia Research you will receive a Research Participation Barnstar after the end of the study.

Thanks for the advice on how to operate on the Talk Pages, as I'm working on brushing up on my Wiki Talk skills. I'm honestly thankful for editors like you who have a great way of explaining how to use Wikipedia, in the correct manor. ^__^

I'll be sure to be more attentive on where to comment next time on this, and other talk pages as well.

But thank you on directing me to where the conversation is being discussed at, so we can share our opinions for the common goal of cleaning up, and adding the adequate information to Wikipedia pages. :D

If you read the Las Vegas article, you will find that it covers the city. If you look at any real map, you will see that the strip is not in the city. So Paradise is the correct location. The problem here is that Las Vegas is mostly used to describe the valley and the sources use it that way. So when have our article at that location being the one that is not applicable to reality, you have these problems. If you have any questions, you can verify facts by going to the official Clark county look up site and just enter the address. If you do that, you will find the correct information. You can try it out and then fix the edit you changed incorrectly. Vegaswikian (talk) 18:31, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Doug Manchester may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • date=October 11, 2005|work=Wake Forest University News Release|accessdate=29 December 2013}}</ref>) the [[University of San Diego]] (Douglas F. Manchester Executive Conference Center, Manchester

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 01:03, 24 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

My edit was to add The Bishop's School, and to place the references that were incorrectly inside the brackets to outside the brackets. I don't see where there is a problem.
It read before:
Multiple buildings and facilities are named for him at both Wake Forest University (Manchester Plaza, Manchester Hall[22]) and the University of San Diego (Douglas F. Manchester Executive Conference Center, Manchester Family Child Development Center, Manchester Village Apartments[23][24]).
It reads now after my edit:
Multiple buildings and facilities are named for him at Wake Forest University (Manchester Plaza, Manchester Hall),[22] the University of San Diego (Douglas F. Manchester Executive Conference Center, Manchester Family Child Development Center, Manchester Village Apartments),[23][24] and The Bishop's School (Manchester Library & Learning Center).[25] Omgoodnessme (talk) 07:34, 24 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
