The article Oswald lange has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. - Hi. There is a brief explanation of what you can do here at your undeletion request. I just wanted to point out that obituaries can carry special challenges for verifying. Frequently, families do submit these to news sources, but the news sources publish them under claim of their own copyright. In this case, the page is marked "Savannahnow.com, Savannah Morning News ©2011. All Rights Reserved." To use text that is published at that page, we would need either (a) for Savannahnow.com to release the content or (b) Savannahnow.com to acknowledge that they do not own copyright in that content, but that you do (following this, we would need you to release the content). I'm sorry for the extra difficulties here; since copyright is legal matter, Wikipedia must proceed carefully to ensure we are compliant.
- The conversation I linked for you above includes suggestion about references. Some of the material, I'm afraid, would be just inappropriate for Wikipedia under any circumstances. Our goal here is to create a formal online encyclopedia. We try to keep our articles impersonal and fact-based. There are many websites that host memorials, but this is outside of our scope.
- Please feel free to come by my talk page if I can be of assistance. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:58, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
