Speedy deletion of Janine Trempy

edit

A tag has been placed on Janine Trempy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

Proposed deletion of Laura Trant

edit

The article Laura Trant has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Matty.007 16:34, 22 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

The White Queen

edit

I really have to wonder whether you saw this episode at all. You say:

  • "Henry Tudor begins to recruit an army of French convicts." This doesn't happen in the episode; Henry already has the army, which Jasper has recruited.
  • "Following the death of his only son and heir, Richard casts his barren wife Anne aside in favour of his niece Elizabeth of York." No, he doesn't, he just takes more of an interest in her, and you've removed the sentence explaining why he does this. Nor does it happen "following the death of his only son and heir".
  • "An embittered Anne dies of tuberculosis." At no point is it stated that she has tuberculosis.
  • "Tudor is clearly outmatched by the king's forces until Stanley finally declares in favour of Tudor." It is actually not clear who is winning until the moment before Stanley's charge. And he doesn't declare.

If you want to use fancy phrases like "Time is running out for Richard III", "Henry Tudor crosses the Channel with his raggedy army", "a solar eclipse signals to all that a change is coming". "Richard knows all too well that his throne is at stake", etc, at least try and get your facts right. Deb (talk) 20:00, 11 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Hot (Mel B album) may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Speedy deletion nomination of Martin Glennie

edit

Hello Paatv,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Martin Glennie for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kges1901 (talk) 21:59, 11 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
