Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Jack Ryan: "Ryan doctrine"
editahh - you were probably right then - put back your changes - it certainly does need to be clear that this is effectively a "noun" rather than a descriptive - which would be capitalised according the standard sentence (or phrase) rules. REQUEST FOR COMMENT
editHi. Someone at Marvel One-Shots thought we shouldn't eliminate a ridiculous logical redundancy there, so I started a discussion on the talk page to dispute this ridiculous idea. Will you please come and support the correction of this error? Thanks, if you do. Be Your Own Hero (talk) 10:20, 19 November 2017 (UTC)

March 2019
editHello, I'm Robynthehode. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Musical theatre, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Your user page description
editWas amused by your infobox but shouldn't your self-description be "Packer1028 also likes to speak in the third person when talking about himself"?--Bill Reid | (talk) 18:33, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked the page. I did it with myself because the new paragraph is meant to be a shift in tense, and also, since there is no other pronoun in that sentence, it's meant to be a humorous shift. Packer1028 (talk) 19:39, 13 September 2020 (UTC)

editYou made several small but important edits at Jack Kirby, and I just want to say thanks and to compliment you on your very careful and precise eye! --Tenebrae (talk) 02:07, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Tenebrae: Thank you! This is really appreciated! A relative of mine used to work for Kirby, and I'm also a huge MCU and comics art fan, so the Kirby Wikipedia page has been a joy to read, let alone contribute to in minor ways. Proud and honored to help out. Thanks again. Packer1028 (talk) 02:25, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

WRLH tower photo
editNot sure if you were aware, but the larger (non-candelabra) tower also transmits WCVE, WCVW, WTVR, and WRIC. The candelabra is apparently disused except for an FM antenna on the side. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 21:58, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
- I did not, actually! Had no idea which one transmitted the station, and always assumed (until finding out differently thanks to WikiShootMe) that one of them, at least, only broadcast PBS. I'm just a WikiShootMe enthusiast, so I really appreciate your update, and sent thanks under my alt account. Packer1028 (talk) 02:07, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
December 2023
editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Appomattox Regional Governor's School for the Arts And Technology a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Padgriffin Griffin's Nest 23:17, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- Apologies for Templating the regulars, but I've applied for CSD G6 on the original redirect. Someone should come along and move it properly later. Padgriffin Griffin's Nest 23:29, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
Innsbrook Photo
editThanks for taking the time to improve the Innsbrook, VA page. Not many people have an interest in the page for this exceptional development. However, the particular photo is on the south side of Broad St and not actually part of Innsbrook, which begins to the north of Broad Street. Do you have any from across the street? I have quite a few more that I should have added and could get back to. Zatsugaku (talk) 15:46, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
- Actually, I found that on Flickr, photo-hunting for pics of the area. By all means, please add :). Packer1028 (talk) 03:10, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
