I hope you find this useful: {{Metallum}}. It uses the same syntax as {{MusicBrainz artist}} Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 05:52, 14 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Pankkake, I defended you in a post about you on ANI based on what looked like baiting, but just to be clear, this doesn't excuse you from following policies, notably WP:CIVIL. Toning your language and public opinions of others down would go a long way toward making everything peachy. -Mask? 21:52, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lyriki

edit

Hey man. I hope you know that there is a new lyrics wiki around. I only just found out so you may be interested. lyriki--DB0 20:17, 23 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

You seem to be the one who added all or most of those links to KiwiLyrics. Since it sadly doesn't exist anymore (like I said - it was all because of these Google ads ;-) ...) I think it would be a good idea to replace those links.

I've seen that you've got something with lyricsdir and DarkLyrics on your "To do"-list. Also someone added this hint recommending Lyriki as a replacement to the former KiwiLyrics. So maybe you haven't heard of LyricWiki.org yet - the largest Wiki following Wikipedia with more than 200,000 song lyrics. I my view this would be the perfakt replacement address for those links.

I write this message to tell you about LyricWiki for future lyrics-links (seems like you love to add them :-)...) as well as to inform you that I will try to initiate a bot mass-edit for those links but if I fail to get it done maybe you can take care of it...

(I hope you get what I wanted to say - my english isn't the best.) --Speck-Made 11:44, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Warning against not assuming good faith

edit

Hello Pankkake, I recently noticed that you reverted all my external links removals and I don't disagree with what your intentions were (to re-add the links to metal-archives.com that I deleted), however you did not assume good faith and went ahead an reverted my entire edits. I was not only removing links to metal-archives.com but to other sites which clearly violated WP:EL. In many cases your revert readded links to forums and fansites (for which consensus has been reached that they should not be linked to), and in one case you readded a link to a site that is hosting downloads of a band's copyrighted discography. I would suggest you go back and selectively revert your edits and please assume good faith next time. Also, the edit summary you used to revert my edits was quite offensive and I consider it slander. --Leon Sword 03:18, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I guess if I do anything I will probably break WP:WHATEVER policy; good luck with your destruction of Wikipedia.--pankkake 13:09, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on User talk:Pankkake. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Leon Sword 18:03, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Old Dead Tree

edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article The Old Dead Tree, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of The Old Dead Tree

edit

An editor has nominated The Old Dead Tree, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Old Dead Tree and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:29, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

edit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 17:20, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Stupid blocks

edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Pankkake (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

2001:41D0:0:0:0:0:0:0/40 is not an "open proxy", it's a whole hoster and ISP, OVH, which was already explained in my appeal to the ban. There is no reason to even block logged-in users from editing.

Decline reason:

I have consulted the blocking administrator, and the WikiProject on open proxies, and there does not seem to be any basis for unblocking. This web host has been abused by several highly disruptive editors. If you are a legitimate editor, then probably you can simply disable the web host connection when you edit Wikipedia. If for some reason you can't, see Template:Webhostblock. JamesBWatson (talk) 09:52, 24 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
