Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Hello Julia
editHello, my name is Asareel. I would caution you when joining as a stated SPA (Single Purpose Account). It is not against Wikipedia policy to be a SPA (See WP:SPA), indeed, many very worthwhile articles are written by SPA's but I think you should read up on it before making edits here to be familiar with it. Also look at WP:COI and WP:PAID. Make sure you follow all guidelines and policies. Understand that many editors here do not like paid and un-paid contributors but they should also respect you as a human being. Your edits for the subject that you have mentioned will be scrutinized. My hope is that you will see the importance of our work here and might just decide to branch out and edit other topics. Become an explorer! I love Wikipedia and want to see it thrive. Good luck and let me know if I can help you on your journey here. --ARoseWolf 19:22, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
Paid editing policy
editHello and welcome, Julia. Thanks for your contributions so far, and the well-written disclosure of your employment on your userpage. I feel like we don't express our appreciation to new users who do the right thing and are transparent about their conflicts of interest. Consider this my attempt to remedy that shortcoming!
If you haven't done so already, please have a look at Wikipedia's paid contribution disclosure policy and conflict of interest guide. If you need assistance with editing or have questions for more experienced editors, the Wikipedia:Help desk and the Wikipedia:Teahouse are good resources for new editors. I hope your Wikipedia experience is a good one - good luck! --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 00:29, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
