I'm glad you brought this to attention. I have edited the article for that sentence, changing to "prostrated themselves" instead of just "prostrated." Thanks, and if there is anything else, feel free to alert me on my talk page. I am working on so many other things I usually miss minor grammatical errors. I just recently nominated and passed the article for the Roman Emperor Augustus as a Featured Article as well.--Pericles of AthensTalk 21:35, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
It's great to find so much solid information about Chinese math and science history -- much (Western) writing that I read says something along the lines of "Oh, and so & so in China discovered this a few centuries prior, but they don't count because they're Chinese. In Europe...." Then I try to track down information on so & so, and often find very little.
Hahaha! That sounds about right. :)
As to the edits and rewording, don't worry, you're fine. I looked over them, and I like what you've done. The article is a bit more polished now due to your efforts and others. I commend you for that.--Pericles of AthensTalk 02:43, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 22:07, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
