Pdn~enwiki
Hi, Peter, if you happen to see this: I saw your note on EMS's talk page and was aghast. My little attempt at cruft patrol certainly was not worthwhile if the result is that a project member leaves the Wikipedia! I blame myself for involving other project members without considering that we might encounter difficulty maintaining ahimsa. I hope you will feel less upset soon and consider returning.
If it helps, I think I have more or less patched things up with Carl H, or at least, I think he is still willing to talk to me, which I think is very important for resolving any future issues we might encounter with him. I would be happy to try to arrange a mutual rapprochement between him, you, and EMS, if that would be helpful.
I plan to re-evaluate the issue of how the WikiProject GTR approaches cruft patrol. We clearly need some degree of cruft patrol, but we also need to protect project members from harrassment and to ensure that we can maintain our cool at all times.
If you'd like to email me, please tell Jitse Niesen your own email addy. (I'll need to then get it from him so that I can add your address to the list of people from whom I accept email, or it will go to /dev/null.)---CH (talk) 00:02, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
Comeback ?
editHi Peter. I was rather shocked by (what appeared to me as) your sudden departure. I don't know the full details of what happened that made you leave. I think many of us have experienced at least one big falling out with another editor here, but sometimes we just need a little time to 'get away from it all'. I hope you decide to come back so we can benefit from your contributions. ---Mpatel (talk) 08:12, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
- Peter, come back! I just finished an article which I particularly hope you will enjoy, on Born coordinates. ---CH 03:48, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

IP claiming to be Pdn
editToday an IP claiming to be Pdn made an edit [1] at Help talk:Logging in#how to access to an old account if I lost the password and also the email address which is not consistent with this edit by Pdn yesterday. PrimeHunter (talk) 11:29, 22 November 2014 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
editHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Pdn. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Pdn~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
