February 2012

edit

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, List of current Home and Away characters. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Rain the 1 23:37, 5 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

List of Casualty characters

edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of Casualty characters. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. This is in reference to to the Nick Jordan character and your edits to add in 2008 as when he rejoined the show. Can you kindly pop over to the talk page to discuss your view? Thanks. Adamiow (talk) 00:10, 6 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sources in biography articles

edit

Hello, I'm Ponyo. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Lucy Alexander, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:02, 8 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Elizabeth Carling

edit

Are you sure Elizabeth Carling appeared in Our Girl on 7 September 2016? She is not listed in the credits. [1] Skrcppr (talk) 01:29, 15 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yes 100% she had a minor role but still appeared. I think because it was a minor role she would be classed as uncredited possibly? Percy2345 (talk) 03:35, 15 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

H&A departures

edit

Hi. I'm sorry, but the source you are trying to add confirming Pryor and Giovinazzo's departures is a fansite, and therefore not considered a reliable source on Wikipedia. I suggest having a read of WP:RS and WP:V, which contain some useful information on sources and verifiability. - JuneGloom07 Talk 20:33, 7 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 01:51, 2 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Removing sources for no apparent reason is disruptive editing and bordering on vandalism and is something can lead to blocks so please refrain from removing any sources, Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 01:53, 2 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Pointless dummy edits

edit

Please stop making dummy edits so you can add commentary in edit summaries. Edit summaries relate to an edit you make; it's not a way for you to chat about an article. Either edit the articles (with reliable sources) or move on. Sundayclose (talk) 05:07, 15 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Not pointless at all. Dont appreciate your rudeness. Ok so i didnt provide a source but its true that Wendy Kweh was in 6 episodes of The Bay. But who cares. Percy2345 (talk) 05:24, 15 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to discuss how an article should be changed, do it on the article's talk page. Stop using edit summaries to discuss general issues related to articles. Restrict your edit summaries to your edits. Read WP:ES. If you think my request is "rude", you need to rethink why you are on Wikipedia. If you were a newcomer I might have a little more sympathy. But you've been editing nine years and should know better. Also stop making unsourced edits, something else you should already be aware of. And finally (I hope), stop marking edits as minor if they're not minor; read WP:MINOR. Sundayclose (talk) 01:35, 16 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Fiona Wade

Hi,

I didn't mean to cause offence by reverting your edit, and it certainly isn't a rule. I just don't think it makes sense to add an end date until she's actually left the show. "2011–present" is correct until then. If you'd like to change it back I won't argue.

Best wishes, Jean-de-Nivelle (talk) 20:51, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Percy, Regarding your following edits here: [1][2][3][4][5] (in fact the list goes on),

If you have no intention of actually editing here then why be here at all?, I don't understand the logic in creating an account here and then proceeding to spam talkpages with "x needs updating", WP:BEBOLD and WP:FIXIT :), Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 00:58, 22 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have edited it thank you. I have not spammed at all. So please do not jump down my throat. Percy2345 (talk) 01:06, 22 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
