editHello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Torquay Athletic RFC, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 13:12, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Torquay Athletic RFC. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Materialscientist (talk) 13:30, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Ellacombe F.C.. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Materialscientist (talk) 13:54, 20 December 2020 (UTC)

editHello, I'm GiantSnowman. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Ian Twitchin have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. GiantSnowman 06:28, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Just seen that my correction to Ian Twitchin was reversed.
- Ian played for Newton Spurs as a boy in the 60s but not in the 80s.
- He played for and managed the now defunct Newton Abbot (previously known as Newton Dynamos).
- These are two different clubs. Spurs still play at the Rec in the town centre. Newton Abbot played at Coach Road.
- Surprised that you see correcting an obvious error as “not constructive”. 2A00:23C6:9B30:ED01:2487:3072:B942:F82E (talk) 13:08, 6 May 2023 (UTC)

editPlease do not add or change content, as you did at Ian Twitchin, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 11:20, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- I did say that if you read the existing link to Ian’s obituary you will read that he played for and managed Newton Abbot FC and NOT Newton Abbot Spurs. Do you have a link proving he did play for Newton Abbot Spurs? Of course you haven’t, because he didn’t. Percy Mackrill (talk) 12:08, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- ENFA says he played for 'Spurs'. GiantSnowman 14:05, 7 May 2023 (UTC)

- Thank you for drawing my attention to the ENFA error. I am the TUFC expert for ENFA so have notified them of the error. I will change the wiki page again after ENFA updates leaving the cross-reference to ENFA. 2A00:23C6:9B30:ED01:8DA6:5C6C:89E4:89F3 (talk) 18:09, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
