Ilija Spasojević

edit

Hi Perko, listen, you can´t just remove a tag asking for sources and leaving only one source in a article where many information is unsourced. That is why you need to have a number of general websites where the career of the player is numbered (exemples: Playerhistory, Transfermarkt, National-football-teams, etc.) and even then, from what I see, you still have a number of parts of the text that continue being unsourced. Another thisng is that Wikipedia is not a propagandistic website, meaning, we are not having the goal of writting all positive about a person and add all his videos of best goals and so. You tubve videos are not even considered a source. Please read: WP:Sources. I´ll try to help you a bit on the article, but it should be you that in case of wanting to edit articles, you need to get familiarised with WP:Policies. Best regards, FkpCascais (talk) 23:07, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I will make some changes. Thanks, best regards, Perko92 (talk) 07:27, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
No problem, but please, see also page history, and if you notece, user Soccer-hollic left you a note that the way you wrote the article you need more in-line sources, exemple, first paragraph: "...Spasojević can be described as an old fashioned English-style centre forward due to his physical presence and great aerial ability.", says who? I´m not against it, I need you to understand that, I even appreciate him and I remember him from the time he spent in Serbia, but anyway, that kind of words are just not appropriate for the encyclopedia style. Try to see other players articles and I beleave you will understand what I am saying. You need to remove the propagandistic tone of the text. You speak of him as if you were selling him, and that is not how the wikipedia article should sound. I´ll try to help you more on this tomorow, in the meantime, check also this important link that shows how a player article should look: Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players. Then you can see articles like Edin Džeko for exemple. FkpCascais (talk) 07:15, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Ok, i also apreciate him very much and i follow his carrier from some time ago. But also, I understand what you are talking about, i was maybe too propagandistic. I will remove that, thanks for explaining. Best regards, FkpCascais (talk) 11:25, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello Mr Sir Sputnik! Can you please explain to me why is article Mirko Spasojevic nominated for deletion, when I already put references from truthworthy sourses. He is football player from Montenegro, as you can see in many wreferences I put in.

One other thing, Mirko is not actually my cousin like family, but I wrote that so that wikipedia can trust that I am highly knowledgeable about his article, because I am also Montenegrin and I also play part-time football. Thanks and sorry if I disturb you. Perko92 (talk) 04:54, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:The photo of my former coach.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:The photo of my former coach.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 18:05, 21 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Mirko Spasojević. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Thanks Sir Sputnik for informing me. But isn't it written that if I input reliable sourses and refferences I can remove Articles for deletion notices? If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Hello Eeekster! Thanks for letting me know, but I am not in familiar connection with Mirko Spasojević because my surname is Perkovic, but we are the same nationality (Montenegro). I put in "edit summary" that he is my cousin because I wanted that administrator knows that I am knowledgeable to edit this page. That was my mistake, I apologize. I also want to inform you that I am very careful about ensuring my edits are verified by reliable sources. Thanks. Perko92 (talk) 13:22, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
