Speedy deletion nomination of Boško Perić
editHello PidgeCopetti,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Boško Perić for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Mabalu (talk) 01:18, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Boško Perić - wiki photo.jpg)
editThanks for uploading File:Boško Perić - wiki photo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:32, 25 December 2012 (UTC)

Non-free use of File:Spomenko Gostić en.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Spomenko Gostić en.jpg. However, there is a concern that the use of the image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. Details of this problem, and which specific criteria that the image may not meet, can be obtained by going to the image description page. If you feel that this image does meet those criteria, please place a note on the image description or talk page explaining why. Do not remove the {{di-fails NFCC}} tag itself.
An administrator will review this file within a few days, and having considered the opinions placed on the image page, may delete it in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion or remove the tag entirely. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:08, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Scanned Chetniks painting.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Scanned Chetniks painting.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peacemaker67 (send... over) 12:44, 14 April 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Jovan Deroko
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Jovan Deroko requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. TheLongTone (talk) 23:49, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
Jovan Deroko
editHi PidgeCopetti,
To avoid having editors tag articles that you've created for speedy deletion, be sure to explain in the article's text why the individual is important. You mention on the talk page for Capt. Deroko that "songs are sung about him." Why are the songs sung? What did Capt. Deroko do? Any reasonable assertion of notability will be sufficient to prevent speedy deletion. As you create articles, be sure to include an explanation of why the article's subject is important in the first draft that you post. Alternatively, if you simply wish to work on articles at your own pace, you may always create "sandboxes" for articles in the drafting process. User:PidgeCopetti/Sandbox If you click on the link I've just typed, you may create a userpage to work on drafting articles before posting them to the Wikipedia mainspace. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. Best wishes, Xoloz (talk) 05:12, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Boro Vukmirović, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Communist Party of Albania. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

27 Club
editHi, I've reverted your addition to 27 Club and I wanted to explain why.
This article is about the "club", it is not a list article for people who have died aged 27. Consequently it only has mentions of people who have been associated with the "club" by reliable sources. The source you cited in your addition does not do this. Indeed, it doesn't give his age either, or his date of birth.
Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 20:11, 24 July 2017 (UTC)

Longin Krčo moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Longin Krčo, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~GMCmc {talk to me} 15:18, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi PidgeCopetti, I hope you're well.
I saw you made the page Socialist self-management (Yugoslavia) as a spinoff from Workers' self-management. However, the page only has two sources in its entirety, and looks to me like it could just as easily be merged into the main page you had originally spun it off from.
Are you intending to expand the page with more sources and information? If not, I'm happy to get a merge sorted out.

editA tag has been placed on Category:Montenegrin emigrants to the Czech Republic requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Speedy deletion nomination of Haris Džinović
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Haris Džinović requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. editHello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! Elizium23 (talk) 18:55, 6 June 2021 (UTC)

editSvetosavlje moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Svetosavlje, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 17:44, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

Question about move to Aleksandar Miljković (musician) from Aleksandar Miljković
editHi PidgeCopetti, hope you're having a good day. I just had a quick question regarding your move of Aleksandar Miljković (musician) from Aleksandar Miljković. Were you planning on turning Aleksandar Miljković into a disambiguation page, have it target a different person, or leave it as is targeting Aleksandar Miljković (musician)? TartarTorte 13:09, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
Aleksandar Miljković will be left as a disambig page. PidgeCopetti (talk) 13:10, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
- I'm so sorry for this confusion. I saw that you moved Alexander Miljković to Aleksandar Miljković (musician) and thought you moved Aleksandar Miljković (musician) from Aleksandar Miljković not Alexander Miljković. I missed the different spelling for the first name. My bad there. Have a great rest of your day! TartarTorte 13:25, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
- Not a problem. My pleasure conversing with you. Have a great day! PidgeCopetti (talk) 14:25, 17 August 2023 (UTC)

December 2023
editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Ali Šukrija. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
