editYou have received these suggestions because we are currently running a study to see if SuggestBot is helpful for newly registered Wikipedia editors. Normally SuggestBot only makes suggestions for users who ask for them explicitly on the SuggestBot request page. We will not post suggestions on your talk page again unless you ask for them. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find a complete consent form with contact information on the SuggestBot Study page.
SuggestBot picks the articles you might be interested in based on the articles you've edited and using a number of different techniques: following links from them to other articles, matching articles based on their content, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedia users. It tries to recommend only articles that others have marked as needing work, such as stub articles that need to be made longer, clean-up articles that need writing help, and so on. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you choose to participate we encourage you to leave feedback on these suggestions, which you can most easily do here by editing your user talk page. We'll stop by later to read them.

Maximilian of Mexico
editThere are two authors who claim that he had an illegitimate who was executed in France in 1917. There were people who lived with him who claimed that he had mistresses. I'm going to talk about it later. Regards, --Lecen (talk) 20:14, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for your answer. I am very interested in what you will find. Also, another interesting thing is the rumour that Maximialian's wife would have been the mother of General Maxime Weygand. A bit of a silly rumour if you ask me but there are quite a few Belgian sources to be found on this subject. Pierlot (talk) 11:44, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- That's certainly one of the biggest issues I have with Maximilian & Charlotte's story: anything someone might say about them can easily be regarded as a fact. Charlotte as the mother of a French general is ridiculous once you learn about her life. I even doubt myself that Maximilian had a son. If that's the case, why he adopted the Iturbide children, and not one of his own blood, then? --Lecen (talk) 16:22, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- I very much doubt Charlotte would give birth to another man's child the same year her husband died - according to most sources they loved one another dearly and Charlotte was deeply moved by his death. I can easily believe Maximilian fathering biological child(ren), however. He would have preferred adopting the Mexican children for political reasons; they were members of the Mexican royal family thus making their claim more legitimate. However, this is just speculation. The son Maximilian would have had who died in 1917 sounds like an interesting story. As for Weygand; it has been rumoured he was either Charlotte's or Leopold's (her brother). The latter seems more likely, in my personal opinion. In any case, it is interesting material and I hope the article makes it to FA. Pierlot (talk) 16:53, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
