The article Little Rock nightclub shooting has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jax 0677 (talk) 19:48, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

editHello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to 2017 Las Vegas Strip shooting does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary.
Edits such as this for example. The highest deaths figure I have found is 59 (plus perp.) You need to expalain changes like this. 220 of Borg 00:57, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Doniago. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Snakes on a Plane seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 20:15, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding all edits about, and all pages related to post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.Please self-revert
editPlease self-revert what you just did at the Donald Trump racial views article and talk page. There is live discussion on the talk page, there's an AfD discussion on possibly deleting the article, and what you just chose to do unilaterally is neither helpful nor was it discussed. In short, it was completely disruptive. You'd be well advised to move on this immediately. -- ψλ ● ✉ ✓ 02:52, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Racial views of Donald Trump, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - MrX 🖋 03:03, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at HMHS Britannic, you may be blocked from editing. I wanted to assume good faith on this, but it's difficult to do so when I see you've been warned about this before. DonIago (talk) 17:29, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Say Uncle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Americanism (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Arguments for and against drug prohibition, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. ☆ Bri (talk) 23:38, 20 March 2018 (UTC)

Good talker but, as for your reading ...
editHi PlanetDeadwing. We might agree on some important topics yet I feel I must, sadly, take issue with you on a particular aspect - that of your non-following of Wikipedia guidelines. Please correct me if I am wrong.
There is evidence of your talking. This contrasts - perhaps completely? - with your reading of this page - your own Talk page - you've never replied to any post made here, to date.
The particular WP guideline I'm referring to is as in Help:Edit summary#Always provide an edit summary. I note that numerous other editors have tried to bring this to your attention, seemingly in vain(?).
I do hope you read this and, of course - as others would doubtless echo - I would genuinely appreciate it if you could grace us with your own thoughts on this matter. Thank you. Trafford09 (talk) 20:29, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I didn't know I was supposed to reply to messages left on my Talk Page.

Thanks for the reply, PD. Hope you don't mind, but I've copied it to here, to keep the thread together. You've proved me wrong, then - you do read your talk page :) So then, would you try to include more Edit Summaries to help your fellow-editors, &/or do you have any thoughts, e.g. on WP or ESs? Regards, Trafford09 (talk) 21:25, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- OK, I shall include more edit summaries in the future. PlanetDeadwing (talk) 23:33, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

DYK for Bernie Sanders mittens meme
editOn 12 February 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Bernie Sanders mittens meme, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Bernie Sanders mittens meme has raised nearly $2 million for Vermont charities? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Bernie Sanders mittens meme. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Bernie Sanders mittens meme), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

editJust to let you know that I reluctantly reverted your edit to the article SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant as the claim that it's the "most dangerous" strain globally was not supported by the existing source (Ref. 25, WHO report)[1]. However, after doing a Google search, it seems the claim can be supported by reliable sources, for example, the Economist [2] and there's a Channel 4 [3] one too. So if you want to undo my revert or make the edit afresh, feel free to do so provided you add a quality source and you can put the reference in right after reference 25.
