Advertisements for www.politicalfamilytree.com

edit

Your recent edits appear to be advertisements for www.politicalfamilytree.com – please stop.Tedickey (talk) 20:06, 15 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Providing references to files allegedly on your local computer is no better (and in fact, possibly worse) than adding references that look like advertisements. You must provide verifiable references to back up your edits, and they must be accessible to everyone, not just on your computer. Please review these policies before you continue adding references. —Krellis (Talk) 20:26, 19 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Barack Obama. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Bobblehead (rants) 18:44, 24 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to John McCain, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from all of Wikipedia. --Bobblehead (rants) 18:57, 24 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dear Pres-scholar,

In the past of your edits, you created links to your hard drive, which no one except a user on your computer could access. Please, correct them by linking them to the actual website, so that your references could be useful. These articles are likely to be reverted, and your edits deleted.

Thanks,

If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Toddst1 (talk) 15:55, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
