ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. June 2019

Hello, I'm Alexbrn. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Medical Cannabis have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Considering your history of misrepresenting sources, much more of this will find you at ANI with a topic ban being considered. Wikipedia is _not_ a venue for one-eyed cannabis advocacy. Alexbrn (talk) 18:14, 15 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

What "history of misrepresenting sources" are you referring to Alexbrn ??
Your editing record is public, and this is not the first time a source has been misrepresented to over-state the therapeutic benefits of cannabis.[1]. Please remember WP:V is a core policy and without it the integrity of the encyclopedia is jeopardised. It is particularly naughty to misrepresent paywalled sources as unless an editor with access to the text happens to check the content, misinformation slips into Wikipedia which is hard to clean up. Alexbrn (talk) 01:15, 16 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
And you have mentioned nothing specific. Wikipedia has become a joke in the real world...bring it up in any serious discussion and you will be laughed at. It is because of people like you...people who have nothing more to do with their life than obsess themselves with the various nuances of wiki...maybe it makes you feel superior in some way. It is the reason I, and others, have stopped donating funds to this wiki experiment. Let it fade away.
Being honest about what sources say is not "nuance". Alexbrn (talk) 12:00, 16 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Wow, Alex, I looked at just the past couple of years on your talk page...it seems it is loaded with people accusing you of "edit warring". Perhaps we are not the "problem users"? And they are just the ones who took the time to post on your talk page (I didn't for example)...I'll bet there are many, many more instances. Psyden (talk) 12:35, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I get reported at WP:AN3 quite a lot.[2] It has never resulted in a sanction. The editors reporting me, on the other hand ... Alexbrn (talk) 12:42, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
I have been reported and it resulted in this. QuackGuru (talk) 01:28, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

According to this the content in the article is inaccurate. Please work together to fix it. QuackGuru (talk) 12:58, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
