editHello, I'm Eagles247. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Greg Olsen (American football), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 13:27, 31 January 2020 (UTC)

editDisambiguation link notification for July 24
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chatham Town F.C., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page London League. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:58, 24 July 2021 (UTC)

editHi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Nicky Spooner article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 20:37, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Why can't Wikipedia make citing more user friendly? My source is as follows:-

editHello, I'm Belbury. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Patricia Greene, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 11:43, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
- And where do I find a 'reliable source' for something which I consider a known, accepted fact. QuiltedBunny (talk) 14:26, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
- I'd recommend online newspaper articles, or books (if only through a Google "Books" search). Belbury (talk) 14:31, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, Wikipedia citations are tediously over-complicated. QuiltedBunny (talk) 15:52, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry to hear that! But just writing
<ref>A Life In Film, by J Smith, p94</ref>
at the end of a sentence is fine if you're finding the citation templates too complex. Belbury (talk) 16:00, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
