Question from Akanksha agarwal 123 (12:51, 19 April 2024)

Hello ,how can I creat my own article --Akanksha agarwal 123 (talk) 12:51, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

Akanksha agarwal 123, Welcome! Creating a new article from scratch is extremely challenging, and new editors are strongly recommended to spend a few months learning how Wikipedia works, by making improvements to some of our existing seven million articles before trying it. When you do decide to have a go at a new article, you are highly encouraged to read WP:Your first article. If you haven't already also check out WP:TUTORIAL; it's a lot of fun! Happy editing! — Qwerfjkltalk 14:06, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

QWERFJKL says there's a 'bare URL' but when I look at the page by itself, in a new window/search, all links appear/are active ... false positive ?  :)

Qwerfjkl (bot) - Wikiproject Sociology categorization

Hello - I'm a new-ish user currently going through the unassessed Wikiproject Sociology articles and noticed your bot has automatically categorized a lot of Russian-related articles that seem to have nothing to do with sociology under the project. Is this an error is there a reason behind it? I don't really know much about how bots work here yet as I am still learning the ins and outs of wikipedia. Fernmyne (talk) 20:53, 25 April 2024 (UTC)

Fernmyne, if it looks like an error, it's probably an error. Feel free to go ahead and remove them from Wikiproject Sociology. — Qwerfjkltalk 07:34, 26 April 2024 (UTC)

Question from EarthPassenger (14:51, 26 April 2024)

Good morning. I just created a Wikipedia account and tried to update the Pharo page (in English) to show that they released version 12.0. I hope I did not screw up the article, but it looks like it worked to me. Maybe you could check my work? Thanks! --EarthPassenger (talk) 14:51, 26 April 2024 (UTC)

EarthPassenger, hi! I don't see any edits on your account except for the one on this page, nor do I see any changes on the article Pharo. Did you save the edit? — Qwerfjkltalk 11:13, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
Well I sure could have done it wrong. What I did was edit the wiki data associated with it so the Pharo page pulls the new version 12.0. The Pharo page does show version 12.0 now. Would that show up on the changes page? EarthPassenger (talk) 11:53, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
EarthPassenger, ah, right, Yes, Q369096 (Diff ~2137779220) looks good to me. — Qwerfjkltalk 12:08, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
