Olá, não sei (deduzo que sim) se o meu amigo é o anónimo 85.138.17.146, aqui VASCO, também de Portugal (IMPORTANTE: esta mensagem só faz sentido se o meu caro for esse endereço; se não for, peço desculpas pelo equívoco e ignore estes conteúdos - de qualquer forma, o referido endereço recebeu também esta mensagem),

Em relação às mudanças em Carlos Saleiro: talvez as minhas palavras não tenham sido 100% adequadas, mas já cá estou há três anos e às vezes tenho estas abordagens quando vejo artigos a precisar de grande arrumação, como neste caso, e passo a explicar:

Primeiro, alterei o "link" SOCCER para o 100% correcto ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL, na introdução. Depois na história, não fiz assim grandes introduções, excepto no caso de "overlinking" ("linking" é quando se liga o nome de um artigo à sua página na WP); fizeste "overlinking" no nome SPORTING CLUBE DE PORTUGAL 7, 8 ou 9 vezes, quando 2 (uma na intro e outra no corpo da história) é suficiente (+ sobre o tema aqui http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overlinking#Overlinking). Na história, também, não faz mal nenhum mostrar o nome total do clube (SPORTING CLUBE DE PORTUGAL, VITÓRIA DE SETÚBAL, etc), só na "infobox", para que esta fique mais compacta. E como há muitos artigos na WP com uma seccão TRIVIA, achei que ficava melhor que CURIOSIDADES, só isso.

Mais alterações: na "infobox", diz que as estatísticas são só para o campeonato respectivo, não para taças e outros; pus os dados correctos e reverteste outra vez para todos os jogos e golos. Ah, também na infobox, não se metem as bandeiras, em nenhum sítio (vi que falas bem inglês, podes perguntar a quem quiseres); tirei a bandeira, e puseste lá outra vez. Cobri os "links" com nomes em Português (TAÇA DA LIGA, etc) com palavras inglesas, sem estragar o "link".

Penso pois, que as minhas mudanças foram todas para melhor. Ah, e repito: talvez pudesse ter sido mais brando nos meus sumários, mas nunca, NUNCA, te insultei, e levei com um "histérico", depois de melhorar (garanto que, pelos padrões da WP, não foi piorar) extensivamente o artigo. Uma sábia decisão.

Gostava de ter uma resposta, para podermos trocar impressões calmamente, sem insultos desta vez. Atentamente, muitas desculpas de novo em caso de equívoco no "wiki-endereço",

• Começamos mal ;) Por acaso, apesar de quase três anos a editar, ainda não descarreguei uma única fotografia para a WP, nisso sou "burrinho"...A única coisa que fiz (e não deve ter sido ilegal, pois ainda lá está) nestes anos todos foi agarrar na fotografia do Aitor Ocio que está na WIKI espanhola e por na inglesa, foi tudo. Gostava de poder ajudar, mas eu sou mais "homem dos textos". Mas de certeza que encontras alguém para te assistir.

I've got plenty more things to do than reading all that page (Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines), but I did find this at the beginning:

If someone adresses you in German, for instance, and if you know how to speak German, will you answer that person in Japanese? Let me answer that one for you: of course not.

Is Wikipedia poorer after my personal conversation with Vasco, or is there anyone interested in that brief conversation between me and Vasco? Same answer here.

In this edit, you commented that "CIF fields and headquarters are not in Idanha-a-Nova, not even close." OK, then where are they? You restored the link to Monsanto, which is a disambiguation page, and doesn't help the reader understand where CIF actually is located. Hey there Russ, I'm sorry but I could only now answer you. Monsanto is in Lisbon, maybe I was checking the portuguese wikipedia version. I'm Portuguese, and a Sporting fan, so I know where CIF is placed, and I've also been to Idanha-a-Nova, which means that I know what I'm talking about. Sorry for the incovenience.

SPORTING CP - Gráfico de plantel

Olá meu caro RUI, VASCO por aqui,

mudei o gráfico do clube em questão (e fiz questão de dar ênfase no sumário, para evitar dúvidas), porque tanto o NETO como o REIS são jogadores mais juniores que outra coisa, apenas treinaram umas quantas vezes com o plantel principal. O ano que vem, como vão dos 19 para os 20 anos, serão seniores de primeiro ano, e serão da primeira equipa, se não forem emprestados, o mais natural.

Mesmo assim removeste, sem explicação no sumário, não faz mal, a informação fica errada, vou editando outras coisas que sei que não serão removidas à espera de uma (possível) resposta.

Compreendo o teu argumento e prometo que não vou voltar a alterar, apesar de não concordar (porque é claro que, quando um jogador é convocado para um jogo da equipa A, tem de lhe ser dado um número - eu penso que estes dois putos foram convocados para um jogo da taça ou taça da liga, não é assim? - mas isso não quer dizer que façam parte a tempo inteiro do plantel principal).

Olá RUI, VASCO "por aqui",

apesar de haver "gajos" que não gostam, é bom falar a nossa língua por aqui de vez em quando.

Uma opinião singela, embora eu tivesse percebido a tua posição, da última vez que falámos sobre este assunto: por favor, não juntes jogadores ao plantel, só porque um jogador junior foi convocado para um jogo de fim de época (ou daqui a um mês, pré-temporada), o plantel "leonino" já vai com 28 jogadores...

Se calhar já o é, e eu estou a dar "barraca", agora todas as tuas outras adições (salvo os seniores Maniche, Evaldo, André Santos e William Owusu) são jogadores ainda "à experiência" - por exemplo, o João Moutinho apareceu para a pré-época de 2004 (Julho-Agosto) e só foi definitivamente promovido dos juniores em Fevereiro de 2005.

Tal como disse, respeito o teu trabalho, e não vou reverter as tuas adições, mas acho que devo dar a minha "opinião operativa", a partir daqui, é contigo e os que costumam editar este e outros gráficos de plantel, eu nem por isso...

Sporting CP squad / Ajuda

Olá RUI, VASCO por aqui,

1ª parte: não percebi a tua edição em "SPORTING CP SQUAD". Fui educado, dizendo o que vou dizer outra vez aqui - não é preciso pôr a inicial do primeiro nome no jogador lá porque é o que aparece na camisa, só se for um apelido muito comum ("J.PEREIRA") ou houver mais que um jogador com o mesmo apelido (no Sporting parece que não há nenhum). O treinador, ou DOMINGOS, ou PACIÊNCIA, mas não os dois for favor.

Fui educado (sei que costumas ler os sumários, só se não leste desta vez), e reverteste outra vez, sem uma palavra. Realmente não percebi.

2ª parte: já tenho 39 anos e a memória já não é o que era, mas parece-me que Tamagnini Nené não está de todo correcto, ou seja, "Tamagnini Manuel Gomes Batista" é o seu nome completo, "Nené" é alcunha, não é assim? Se for, então teremos que mudar o nome do artigo.

• Como também é sobre o SPORTING, optei por escrever no mesmo "campo": enfim, meus parabéns, o Sporting já está igual a Porto e Benfica, 26 jogadores (segundo o plantel na WP)...18 estrangeiros!!!! E claro que tugas vão ser ainda menos, toda a gente sabe (olha eu não) que o A.MARTINS e o J.GONÇALVES não têm nível para o clube, o TURAN, RUBIO, MARCELO, RINAUDO, esses sim, que craques! Ah, e não me enganei na conta, o Yannick Djaló é guineense, não é português (e não, não sou racista, o Miguel Monteiro, o Jorge Andrade, o Yazalde Gomes Pinto, tão portugas como eu e tu, agora o Djaló não!).

O campeonato português mete nojo (Rio Ave e Olhanense os únicos que se safam, e mesmo assim ambos têm mais de DEZ estrangeiros no plantel, à vontade), cada vez mais espero que o FC Barcelona limpe isto tudo, e não desejo sorte nenhuma sorte às equipas "portuguesas" na UEFA. Nunca tive clube em Portugal, e não é agora que vou começar. Quem é que tem mão nisto?

Ah, e já agora, o meu clube também não é o Barcelona (se tivesse seria o Athletic Bilbao), apenas disse isso porque é daqueles poucos clubes que tem hipótese de ganhar tudo, e acho INADMISSÍVEL que um dos melhores clubes do mundo tenha menos estrangeiros que TODAS as equipas da primeira divisão portuguesa (e muitas da segunda!) e inglesa, e fico-me por aqui em exemplos...

Tanto quanto sei estou bem informado. Procurei bastante mas não encontro nenhuma fonte credível, muito menos uma oficial, em que encontre essa informação sobre qual será o número da camisola do André Carrillo. De resto com a pré-época ainda por começar custa-me a acreditar que um jogador apenas já tenha decidido que número irá usar, e os outros não o tenham feito. Tenha a humildade para, mais do que me exigir que me informe, me dizer onde posso encontrar essa informação oficial. Empréstimos

Outra coisa, meu caro: podias deixar de tirar os anos nos empréstimos. Em princípio, os empréstimos sem ser na Inglaterra, são SEMPRE de época inteira. Caso o negócio seja desfeito e o jogador a) regresse à casa-mãe b) vá para outro clube emprestado, então logo se altera o "box", até lá deixa estar por favor...

Nome de clube

Olá meu caro RUI, VASCO "por aqui",

como o título da minha mensagem indica, por favor põe no "box" apenas SPORTING B (eu só vou corrigir alguns, já passo aqui horas a mais), SPORTING CLUBE DE PORTUGAL B não é enorme, é a seguir. "Excelente" a ideia das equipas B's (e só faltou pô-las logo na Primeira Liga, que palhaçada, e já se está a ver, não se consegue dar vazão aos estrangeiros todos, vão para as reservas para polir...até ver, o Sporting é um indiano, o Benfica é o Djaniny, continuem rapazes)!

Patético, e mais não digo porque senão, alguem da FPF/Liga que leia isto pode-me pôr em apuros (e a de acabar com os empréstimos entre equipas do mesmo escalão, qual é a lógica?). Abraços, umas ótimas férias venham quando vierem - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 22:48, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

• Mais uma vez sem resposta, OK, espero que não tenha feito nada (e isto não tem nada a ver com o facto de se ter uma vida mais ou menos ocupada, eu pelo menos, quando entro no site e vejo "tem uma mensagem", a primeira coisa que faço é responder, coisas minhas). Agora vamos discutir uns tópicos: 1 - acho que os "templates" para juniores não são permitidos (não sei se foste tu que fizeste o "squad" dos sub-19) mas acho que é só dos sub-20 para cima que a WP aceita); 2 - os links do Tiago Ilori por favor deixa estar como estão, estou a tentar uniformizar tudo no que diz respeito a jogadores portugueses/estrangeiros que tenham jogado muitas épocas cá (1º ZEROZERO, 2º FORADEJOGO, o resto vem por acréscimo); 3 - ainda no Ilori, sei que és fã do Sporting (eu, volto a repetir não tenho), mas que foi isso de apagar o erro que ele cometeu com o U.D. Leiria? Eu vi o jogo, suponho que tu também o fizeste, não é verdade? É. Por favor deixa estar como está, até porque está REFERENCIADO, ninguém está a fazer pouco do miúdo, está-se a falar de uma jogada que ocorreu, nem sequer se diz "cometeu um erro infantil e foi por isso que o Sporting não ganhou", diz-se "cometeu um erro aos 20 minutos que resultou no golo do Leiria".

Olá meu caro RUI,

já vi que tens alguns dos teus artigos propostos para eliminação. Não sei se sabes mas é preciso que o determinado jogador tenha jogado numa liga profissional para ser considerado wiki-notável, no caso português tem que ter jogado pelo menos na Liga de Honra, não interessa para nada se jogou na Taça de Portugal ou Taça da Liga.

No que diz respeito aos jogadores do Sporting B, um mal-entendido por aquilo que vejo das tuas últimas edições: eu disse que se devia pôr SPORTING B na caixinha, na introdução ou história pode (e deve) ficar o nome ao completo. Saudações, ótima semana - --AL (talk) 20:08, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I deleted the Gaël Etock article because this soccer player does not meet the criteria for inclusion at Wikipedia. The article that you created in July was discussed here Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ricardo Esgaio because he has not yet played in a "fully pro league". Wikipedia has certain criteria, because as an encyclopedia we don't want or need articles about everybody!! You'll need to wait to recreate the article until he has played in a fully pro league, and then include some reliable sources showing that he has now reached that point. Sorry for the disappointment, and I hope you stick around on Wikipedia; assuming you do, it will be important for you to study WP:FOOTYN, which gives information about the kind of status footballers need to have reached to have an article here. This list of fully professional leagues WP:FPL might also help you avoid frustration in creating articles about people who don't (yet!) meet the grade. I restored the history as well. I don't know if it's of any use to you (presumably not). When errors occur (which is inevitable), it might be less work to ask whoever fucked up (for instance, me) to fix the mistake rather than redo all the work. The difference between "Plays for the Maple Jays" and "Plays for the Maple Jays and has actually set foot on the pitch" is subtle - I wasn't the only admin who missed it yesterday (or whenever?), I'm sure it'll happen again. Caro RR, "aqui" AL,

tentei fui revertido, a maior parte das pessoas quer esta abordagem ("Fito", "Eric", "CR7", "Mou") quando isto é uma enciclopédia, nenhum destes dois primeiros jogadores é conhecido assim, mas fica assim. Numa nota relacionada, cá em Portugal a abordagem com o primeiro nome é tão exquisita (para não dizer outra coisa) que apesar disto: "Ai os apelidos estrangeiros são muito difíceis de pronunciar" devem dizer alguns "jornalistas", pomos só o primeiro nome, o RONNY VAN ES (um que jogou no Rio Ave) era o RONNY, o VLADAN STOJKOVIC (irmão do VLADIMIR) era o VLADAN, o FLORIS SCHAAP, defesa que também era holandês como o VAN ES ficou o FLORIS, o MITCHELL VAN DER GAAG é o MITCHELL - apesar disto já está tão habituados que depois aparece o Abdoulaye Ba do F.C. Porto, e fica conhecido como? ABDOULAYE, não BA; enfim, o gráfico do Sporting fica como está, não estou para entrar em conflictos.

Uma dúvida tirada a um sportinguista (eu volto a reiterar que NÃO tenho clube): esta contratação do Hugo Ventura é já a preparar a venda do Rui Patrício não (depois do Daniel Carriço)? SPORTING, BENFICA, PORTO, já me faltam as palavras para isto...

• Outra coisa muito usada pelos jornalistas portugueses é o ABUSO dos dois nomes nas retransmissões nos jornais - dantes eram só os jogadores portugueses que tinham que ter - RUI COSTA, PEDRO COSTA, JORGE ANDRADE, etc - agora são 99,999999999999% dos jogadores, uma vez, num jogo do Atlético Madrid vi o tipo da Sport TV dizer sem exagero 50 VEZES, "Radamel Falcao García" no relato, mas o que é que é isto?! Por isso, "brilhantemente" no caso do jogador do Sporting, diz-se ERIC DIER a toda a hora e não como devia ser, DIER.

E também acredito 100% que o Rinaudo seja tratado como Fito por colegas e amigos (mas não percebo como é que alguém com conhecimentos ainda que muito básicos de inglês pode achar DIFÍCIL dizer/pronunciar Dier), mas uma coisa é o tratamento familiar, outra como os jogadores são conhecidos no mundo do futebol. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. A palavra Zezinho não leva acento agudo no E porque é uma palavra grave, ou seja, a sílaba tónica é a segunda e não a primeira. Lemos zeZInho e não ZEzinho como se leria caso levasse acento no E. Joaommx (talk) 01:12, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Não é a primeira nem será a última vez que a LPFP se engana. Aliás, nem precisamos de ir muito longe já que no plantel do Sporting aparecem pelo menos mais quatro nomes mal escritos no site. Jeffrén, Valentín Viola e Gaël Etock aparecem sem acentos gráficos e ao Diego Rubio acrescentaram um acento agudo no U. Até a própria FPF é propensa a typos entre os nomes dos seus membros federados, veja-se o caso do plantel da selecção sub-21 no qual encontramos Luís, Júnior ou Vítor escritos sem acento gráfico. Segundo as regras de português Zezinho para se ler zeZInho não pode levar acento agudo, e a verdade é que a maioria das fontes estão de acordo com isto, ainda que haja uma fonte oficial que não esteja. Invite to the African Destubathon

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc).
