Sockpuppet investigation

edit

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Pakistanpedia. Thank you. — Tulsi 24x7 07:33, 22 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

I think this is more likely to be a sock of Ak131001, given the history of Arif Mehmood Alam. I've filed an SPI there, but will add mentions to each. Ravensfire (talk) 13:27, 23 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Dars e Masnavi moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Dars e Masnavi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. August 2022

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  --Blablubbs (talk) 11:35, 28 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request for Unblock

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Sir, I have done nothing wrong. One question to you is, why did Wikipedia allow everyone to edit? Because Wikipedia wants the person who knows well to write about it? Because Wikipedia wants the person who knows well about an object or person or any other topic to write and update about it and I did the same thing. I have tried two or three times, I work hard , but in the end I am blocked and my articles which have also been reviewed are deleted.

Decline reason:

  Confirmed sockpuppetry. Yamla (talk) 12:12, 28 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Block evasion

edit

@Realone102, as you've probably seen, block evassion is not something that's tolerated here. Being an editor here is as much a social contract as it is a technical process. You are part of an editing community and as such, agree to follow the norms of that community. Here, these the policies and guidelines that the community has created over the past 20+ years. Part of those include the WP:BLOCK provisions. Blocks are for you, the person behind the account. Obviously, that's more of a social restriction than technical, as you've found by just creating new accounts. That's where WP:EVADE comes in. By creating new accounts, you are evading your block and going against the community norms of Wikipedia. That's not good. The community has said there are problems with your editing and rather than address them, you ended up being blocked and then kept ignoring the issues and creating new accounts.

As a WP:SOCKPUPPET, your edits are generally reverted and any pages created are deleted. You've chosen not to be a part of the Wikipedia community by ignoring the original block. You MUST address that original block and the concerns that lead to it first. At this point, you've created more than just a few accounts and have seen them blocked. That makes it very unlikely an admin is going to be willing to unblock you. The Standard Offer may be the only route back to editing you've got. It's six months without ANY editing, including as an IP (and it's pretty obvious when you've used IP's to make edits) and then use your original account to start a discussion about unblocking. It's not guaranteed and depends a lot on your ability to understand the issues that lead to the blocks and on showing your willingness to address those issues and change your editing style. Restrictions on editing may be imposed as part of that, that's between you and the admins. Continuing to create new accounts or use edit as anonymous IP's is not an option though, you've seen what will happen.

I hope this gives you something to consider. Ravensfire (talk) 18:37, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
