Hello, Rebecca Paisley. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Rebecca Paisley, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Box of wolves (feed) 06:28, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Rebecca Paisley have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks.   Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Also, please review the above notice about conflicts of interest. In general it would be better if you did not attempt to edit your own page. AntiDionysius (talk) 16:18, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Rebecca Paisley, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. AntiDionysius (talk) 16:52, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, AntiDionysius. I truly didn't mean to do anything wrong or upset anyone. I feel very guilty and ashamed for bothering Wikipedia's people. The person who helped me to write my page (my book editor) is not here anymore, so I am unable to request her help with my Wikipedia page edits. I have tried and tried to understand the Manual of Style, as you suggested, but it is far over my head. Again, I sincerely apologize for being a pest. - Rebecca Paisley Rebecca Paisley (talk) 17:18, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

It is not practice on Wikipedia to use authors' first names to reference them throughout an article. Also, the very external link you added refers to you as "Boado". Finally, can you confirm you have read and understood the conflict of interest policy? --AntiDionysius (talk) 17:09, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
