editHello, I'm Dwpaul. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Tommy John, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. A photograph of a legal document uploaded to Wikipedia Commons is not a reliable source, since a) it is a primary source, not secondary or tertiary as required, and b) we cannot establish that the picture is a true copy of anything it may claim to be an image of. Disambiguation link notification for May 5
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Stewart Holley, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Guard. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Stewart Holley
editThe article Stewart Holley has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Promotional article (by obvious paid editor) fails WP:NHOOPS and WP:GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -War wizard90 (talk) 00:54, 11 July 2015 (UTC)

Mike McCoy - #77 - Is not dead.
editThere are 2 Mike McCoys' that have played for Green Bay. Mike McCoy (Jersey #77) was a 1st round pick and played for G.Bay, Oakland, and the Giants and is not dead. His web site, "Mike McCoy Ministries" has no reference to his passing.
Mike C. McCoy (3rd round pick), is the NFL player that has died.
I propose the "Death" section be removed from Mike's BIO page. Thanks! 12.201.195.69 (talk) 04:29, 25 February 2016 (UTC)dkar3
You are correct. I had the wrong Mike McCoy. Thank you for catching my mistake.

The article Darrin Gray has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. {— Preceding unsigned comment added by EnIRtpf09b (talk • contribs) 15:38, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- I have moved the page to Draft:Darrin Gray when I saw on User talk:EnIRtpf09b#top that you had not intended to publish the article. You need to put properly cited references to replace the misplaced external links before you submit the draft for AFC review, and you also need to read the manual of style. - David Biddulph (talk) 16:17, 1 February 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Darrin Gray
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Darrin Gray, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
