Welcome!
editHello, BidushiAdhikari, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Draft:Bipin Adhikari, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.
Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Bipin Adhikari
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Bipin Adhikari, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 24.211.70.219 (talk) 15:51, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
October 2023
editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. - Hi, I just noticed that my page was deleted. I am not Bipin Adhikari, the subject of that wiki page, rather, I am a family member. I am working on tackling the two issues regarding promotional language and copying information, and would appreciate the opportunity to edit the article. Thanks. BidushiAdhikari (talk) 16:41, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
- Ok well the same principle applies - see WP:COI. Please do not create articles about your family members. SmartSE (talk) 16:42, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
- Is it not possible to create the page if I declare my conflict of interest and the page itself is still neutral/reliable? BidushiAdhikari (talk) 16:43, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, it is absolutely possible to create and submit a draft even though you have declared a COI. David notMD (talk) 12:25, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying! This was my understanding as well. Researcher1206 (talk) 11:16, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

AfC notification: Draft:Bipin Adhikari has a new comment

My edits
editI created sections and moved content to - in my opinion - make it more likely that this can be accepted as an article. I suggest that rather than list all of his books and publications, the list be much shorter, with a section title "Selected publications" After that, you can submit it and in time get a Reviewer's decision. If Declined, the Reviewer will give reasons that remain to be addressed. David notMD (talk) 12:24, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- Sounds great, thank you for your help. Researcher1206 (talk) 11:16, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

Bipin Adhikari moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Bipin Adhikari. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. DIVINE 21:20, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
