Why are you putting back in information I've edited? I no longer work at that radio station, for instance; but I do have a podcast. In addition, the description of my books is not descriptive of the work. Who writes these things? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.77.137.157 (talk) 20:51, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- I would recommend creating a Wikipedia account. You are also not including a edit summary with your edits which made the changes you made suspicious of being vandalism, as someone removing content like that without qualification is. Apologies for the confusion. In relation to the line regarding the radio station, please made sure you are removing the whole reference, including the </ref> tag. In relation to the line regarding the book, please make sure to remove the reference that goes along with it (the ref tag next to it). I would also request you become aware of the Biographies of Living Persons policy.- - RichT|C|E-Mail 21:10, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
Regarding the latest edit
Hi Rich, I made the change because the sources cited are either misleading or not available. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sainredd (talk • contribs) 09:30, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Sainreed, no problem - please use the edit summary to explain why you made an edit, it really help vandal fighters like me discern a good edit from that of a vandal. Also, please remember to sign your messages using ~~~~. cheers! - - RichT|C|E-Mail 09:33, 6 April 2020 (UTC)

Problems
- There was a problem with user pages not being shown properly on desktop. This was because of a bug. It will soon be fixed. [1]
Changes later this week
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 7 April. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 8 April. It will be on all wikis from 9 April (calendar).
Future changes
- MediaWiki will use a newer version of Unicode. Some characters that did not have an upper case equivalent before do now. Titles beginning with one of these characters will be moved. A list of these titles can be seen on Phabricator. The titles will be renamed by the user
Maintenance script
. This will start on 13 April 2020. You can rename them before this if you wish and the new title can be different from the one the script would rename it to. [2]

PLEASE ADD PROTECTION
Hello Mr. Smith, I sent you an email but I will repeat again the concern. Persisten vandalism by IPs on The Phelps School page removing information randomly and adding incorrect unsourced information persistently. As an employee of the school, I can't keep up with these Ips destorying our page. The school has been the center of some controversy lately so it is not surpriing, but please add semi-protection to the page. It is very important for our reputation. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Editor940 (talk • contribs) 12:21, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
- As I replied to your email, I am not an administrator therefore cannot protect a page. You may make a request at Requests for Page Protection if you feel it necessary - - RichT|C|E-Mail 12:23, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
Rich
Why did you delete my section? Just because I say something that goes against you does not mean you get to delete my section. I want to talk with you and you are deleting my section. I don't like that, Rich. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emptyvortex (talk • contribs) 12:50, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
- Your edit to Marion Barry was quite clearly unconstructive. I think that is the end of this discussion, move on. - - RichT|C|E-Mail 12:59, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

ACC tool access
Thank you for your interest in returning to ACC. I have verified that you have signed the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information and approved your request.
You may now access the interface here. Before you begin handling requests, please ensure you have read and understood the account creation guide and username policy to re-familiarize yourself with the process.
Please subscribe yourself to the private ACC mailing list following the instructions on that page. I also advise that you also join us on IRC #wikipedia-en-accounts connect where a bot informs us when new account requests come in and you can get real time advice on how to handle requests.
Please note failure to correctly assess requests will result in suspension of tool access. Account creation is not a race, and each one should be handled diligently and thoroughly. Releasing personally identifying information (such as IP and email addresses), whether intentionally or unintentionally, is treated very seriously and will generally result in immediate suspension.
Currently you are allowed to create up to six accounts per day, and you won't be able to create an account with a similar name to that of another user; these requests are marked as "Flagged user needed" on the interface. However, if you reach the limit frequently, you can request the account creator permission at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Account creator.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions. Thank you for participating in the account creation process. Again welcome back! — JJMC89 (T·C) 23:29, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
Olan Montgomery
One of your editors, Diannaa, recently removed content from my recently deceased brother's wiki. She cited copyright material from my brother's own website. No one should remove content without first talking with the author of that content. That content has valuable information that if somehow is forbidden by Wiki, should be returned to us. Pissed off does not begin to describe my rage at this insensitive act. Unless the page is restored to it's original content before Diannaa arbitrarily destroyed it, there is no need to include my brother on this platform -

Account creator granted
After reviewing your request for the "accountcreator" permission, I have enabled the flag on your account. Keep in mind these things:
- The account creator right removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24-hour period.
- The account creator right is not a status symbol. If it remains unused, it is likely to be removed. Abuse of the account creator right will result in its removal by an administrator.
If you no longer require the right, let me know, or ask any other administrator. Drop a note on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of the account creator right. Happy editing! — JJMC89 (T·C) 04:16, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
Professor Peter Sinclair
My very old friend Peter Sinclair recently died from covid-19. his Wikipedia entry failed to mention that he married again (his first wife having died) . so, I added
"In 21016, he married the environmental artist, Jayne Ivimey." however, this does not seem to have got into his entry. Are you able to ensure that this is added, as his widow is, naturally, rather upset that there is no mention of their marriage.
Many thanks
