Help in Retaining Clue bot NG
- Hi, I would like to help in this. do let me know how i can proceed.Arnavchaudhary (talk) 15:27, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, I've been doing some counter-vandalism work and feel that I would be able to aid you, there is a link on my userpage where you can email me if that is how you prefer to respond, or you can respond here. I'll be watching it. I may even sacrifice some of my gaming time to help get Cluebot back up to speed. Sincerely, He's Gone Mental 15:42, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

- I am a tad low on editing time lately, but the sooner we get cluebot back on speed, the better. Just give me a nudge on my talk page if you need any help retraining it. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 20:33, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

Is the bot down?
Hey Rich!
Just to let you know there's a message on ClueBot's talk page asking if the bot is down. I think the user is meaning ClueBot III because that's the bot they use to archive their talk page. I've checked ClueBot III's run page and it seems to be ok. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong contributions page but when I go to it, it says the bot hasn't archived since 10th December? Is this tied in with the same issue that we had with the server for ClueBot NG? User talk:ClueBot Commons#Is the bot down is where the query can be found at. Hope you're well and I'll look into that email you sent me further tonight and hopefully get a ClueNet account tonight or tomorrow :)--5 albert square (talk) 22:52, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
- Hey, this is Rich but I can't be asked to log in as I'm typing this on my mobile in bed... Anyway, I am working on moving ClueBot III over to labs as well so archiving is on hold, should be up by Xmas day ^_^ - 79.78.21.22 (talk) 00:01, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- Haha I wondered who that was when I saw the IP edit on my talk page! No worries, I'll copy and paste the relevant part of the message to ClueBot's talk page :)--5 albert square (talk) 00:04, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- I'll also put a notice up at the top of ClueBot's talk page. I know ClueBot III can't archive it but you know what people are like, half the time before they ask a question they don't think to read the talk page and see if it's already been asked and responded to lol, especially if the talk page is lengthy. Hopefully it will stop duplicate questions :)--5 albert square (talk) 00:10, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- Didn't take as long as I thought... so... Done - Rich(MTCD)T|C|E-Mail 13:24, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

Merry Christmas
5 albert square (talk) is wishing you a Merry Christmas! This greeting (and season) promotes WikiLove and hopefully this note has made your day a little better. Spread the WikiLove by wishing another user a Merry Christmas, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past, a good friend, or just some random person. Don't eat yellow snow!
Spread the holiday cheer by adding {{subst:User:Flaming/MC2008}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
For the Common Good
When using FtCG, please keep the following two details in mind:
- Commons requires that the "description", "author", and "source" fields of the {{information}} template are filled out. (Usually this is done by copy-pasting info elsewhere on the file page.) Not doing so creates a backlog on Commons.
- Remember that not all images are wanted on Commons. Many personal user images (used only on userpages with no other foreseeable use) should probably stay here on enwiki.
If you have any feedback on the tool, please visit WT:FTCG. — This, that, and the other (talk) 06:05, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
