Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Japanese cuisine. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Oda Mari (talk) 02:15, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to List of Japanese ingredients. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Oda Mari (talk) 02:17, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Japanese pottery and porcelain, you will be blocked from editing. Oda Mari (talk) 02:18, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re:Talkback

There are two reasons I removed the external links you added. As you are the host of the site, I thought it was a self-promotion. That's the first reason. The second one is that the site sells products. Please read Wikipedia:External links and Wikipedia:Spam. If my reply does not satisfy you, please ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page. Best regards. Oda Mari (talk) 18:52, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

You posted to the wrong section in [1] so I have moved your post to Wikipedia:Help desk#Link to my website. PrimeHunter (talk) 13:56, 6 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

No worries, glad I could help.

One of the beauties of Wikipedia is that we don't all need to be master encyclopedia writers. If someone wants to add new content, the only thing that's really important is that they include some kind of reference to a reliable source. After that, it's easy for someone familiar with wiki markup and Wikipedia's house style to make any necessary tweaks. I enjoy copyediting, so if you ever want something reviewed you're welcome to leave a message on my talk page.
