editWelcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Palghar, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 04:13, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
- Dear Sumanuil,
- That is correct but as i know more about my area and i am a Palghar Local Explorer.
- and i am experienced in readability designs and good accessible ability and i have took about 5 to 10 survey after editing articles they told it is good and more detailed.
- Thanks Ritikchauhanfacts99 (talk) 09:52, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
Hello Ritikchauhanfacts99. I appreciate your efforts to improve the article Palghar, but some of your edits have been reverted or corrected, in part because your use of English was grammatically incorrect. If you speak a different language more fluently or require assistance, please feel free to ask for help with your proposed edits on the article's talk page. Please don't use an automated tool to alter spelling or grammar if you aren't fluent enough in English to know whether those changes are correct. There are multiple users who would be glad to help you fix grammar-related issues. To find out about other useful contributions you can make to Wikipedia which don't require absolute fluency in English, see Wikipedia:Task Center. Thanks! - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 06:34, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
Your recent edits to User talk:Sumanuil could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 19:46, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Ritikchauhanfacts99. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Palghar, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DMacks (talk) 20:12, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Sundaram Central School
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sundaram Central School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.sundaramcentralschool.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. editHello. Your recent edit to Palghar appears to have added a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 19:04, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Palghar. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 19:04, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
editHello Ritikchauhanfacts99! Your additions to Sundaram Central School have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:50, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
I understand that my block is due to being a new user and potentially not yet fully grasping Wikipedia's guidelines and policies. I apologize if my contributions were disruptive or did not align with Wikipedia’s standards. As a newcomer, I am eager to learn and contribute positively to the encyclopedia. I have reviewed Wikipedia's [guidelines](Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines) and [blocking policy](Wikipedia:Blocking policy) to better understand the expectations. I promise to adhere to all community standards and make constructive contributions in the future. Please consider unblocking me so I can continue to learn and contribute productively. Thank you. Decline reason:
I've edited your links, the whole url is unnecessary. I'm an admin and I haven't read every single guideline. We don't need you to read every guideline, but you do need to understand the ones related to your editing. You also need to be willing to heed the guidance of other editors. Please demonstrate your understanding by telling us what was wrong with your edits and what you will do differently. I'd probably start with how to cite sources, what a reliable source is, and how to resolve disputes without edit warring. 331dot (talk) 01:18, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
