In case you didn't know (and [1]), spaces are normally used with punctuation marks.

Instead of this:
  • I like bunnies(rabbits). They are not only cute, but friendly too.
Try this:
  • I like bunnies (rabbits). They are not only cute, but friendly too.

Thank you, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:12, 1 November 2013 (UTC)

About using the spacebar, again

Please, please, please try to add spaces correctly. Others have to come and fix up your edits otherwise. Please compare your userpage to a random article to see where spaces are used. Many thanks for your cooperation. I am very grateful. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 13:30, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

Your userpage and future at Wikipedia

Hello there. I don't normally ever do this, but I've helped with the spaces around punctuation at your user page. Please see User:Anna Frodesiak/Green sandbox. Carefully compare that page with your user page. Pay special attention to the spaces around punctuation. See what I've done? As you are a writer, I'm sure it will be helpful. Also, as I am sure you are about to start to build the encyclopedia and not just work on your fine userpage, this will help you make good edits that won't need cleaning up. Adding spaces after full stops and commas is extremely important. You must know this as you've been reading English all your life.

You are welcome to use the version at User:Anna Frodesiak/Green sandbox. There are still some issues with it, but that's up to you.

I also took the liberty of reducing the photo because it was so large that it covered all of the links we need.

I wish you happy editing in the encyclopedia. Please feel free to start right away. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:39, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:53, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Hero Motocorp SuperSplendor

Hello Rudra john cena,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hero Motocorp SuperSplendor for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Itsalleasy (talk) 18:07, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Ways to improve Hero Motocorp SuperSplendor

Hi, I'm Itsalleasy. Rudra john cena, thanks for creating Hero Motocorp SuperSplendor!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Article is about Hero Motocorp SuperSplendor however the page is about bike of another company which is not acceptable as per encyclopedia standards.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Itsalleasy (talk) 18:10, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Your recent edits

  • In this and other edits, you linked lots of common words. Per WP:OVERLINK, that is not appropriate.

The first issue is minor. The second one, the copyright violation, is very serious. You must never do that again, okay?

Please read some of the helpful links located at the welcome at the top of your page. That will help. Also, see other articles to know how to make constructive edits.

Best wishes, and if there's anything you need, please just ask. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:33, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Image copyvio

You uploaded File:Peregrine falcon(Falco peregrinus).jpeg as your own work saying "... The photo was taken in Kalahari Desert by User:Rudra John Cena...." Well, I think that is quite unlikely per http://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/peregrine.

What do you have to say? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 13:14, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Another

You say that's in the public domain. I'm not sure you understand the meaning of the term. Publicly available is perhaps what you are thinking. Nowhere do I see that the image is in the public domain. Please explain, and please don't upload any more images unless you are certain about the copyright status. Thank you, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:52, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

I got File:Sunderban White Tiger.jpg in a personal website http://www.com-pedia.webs.com but today I searched the site again but maybe the photo was removed. I got the photo while I am browsing in google so I request you Anna Frodesiak to remove the tag of deletation from the picture and please help me to describe that I havent uploaded the photo for unfare means. Please cooporate.Rudra john cena (talk) 07:56, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
Tineye shows this image at 251 other websites. You uploaded it as author Gobinda Sinha. Your userpage says you are Rudra Pratap Sinha.
The description for the image you added is exactly the same as here.
To explain copyrights: If you don't own it, and the source doesn't explicitly say that you can use it, then you are not permitted to upload it to Wikipedia or Commons. It's pretty simple.
So, do you own the photo? If you can explain how you do own it, then we can remove the deletion tag. Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:07, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

The site from were I got the image was similar to flickr so the source of the site says that I can use it. And this photo is not licenced to any copyright so I can use it. The owner of the photo have no objections that is why I uploaded it in wiki. So please Anna Frodesiak remove the deletion tag. Rudra john cena (talk) 08:53, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
You must show that the owner of the image says it is in the public domain. Can you show us that? The absence of a copyright statement is not enough. And again, you also claimed the author as "Gobinda Sinha" and you userpage says your name is "Rudra Pratap Sinha". Please explain. Thank you, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 09:00, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
The photo was copied and uploaded in numerous sites by many people so finding the actual author of the picture is impossible. And the site from were I downloaded it, has deleted that photo. So I cannot find it now. Can you do me a favour, can you just edit the licence part of the photo and change it into "I dont know" so that no one have any problem regarding that photo and change the author name into unknown. So please can you do it Anna Frodesiak If you can do it then deletion tag can be removed. Rudra john cena (talk) 09:17, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
I'm sorry. I cannot help. The fact that 251 others have simply taken the photo to use makes it difficult to find the owner. It is a professional photo and is almost certainly owned by somebody. Please let it go and please don't upload any more images that you don't own. Thank you for your understanding. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 09:21, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
Okay. Thank you for helping me. Rudra john cena (talk) 09:31, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
Anna Frodesiak I need a help. Can you please tell me how to nominate a good article for featuring in the main page of wikipedia. You can send me the link to the nomination page. Thankyou for your help. Rudra john cena (talk) 10:05, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
Here you go: WP:FAC. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:11, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

You also claimed the author as "Gobinda Sinha" and you userpage says your name is "Rudra Pratap Sinha". Please explain. Thank you, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:20, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

Need help

Hi, fellow user. I need a help. I have nominated an article for WP:GA. The article was about a very famous political figure in India. The article was nominated but I haven't got any reviews yet. So, please go to the talk page of this article Arvind Kejriwal and follow the link to the nomination page given at the top of the articles talk page and review it. Thankyou for your cooporation. Rudra john cena (talk) 06:13, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

There are currently almost 250 articles awaiting a GA review, and quite a few of those have waited far longer than yours. Please be patient. That said, I'm a little concerned that a good article candidate is rather heavily based on primary sources. Huon (talk) 22:24, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Admrboltz. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Wikipedia talk:Good article nominations without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Hi. Admrboltz can you tell me what has I removed mistakenly. Rudra john cena (talk) 21:01, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
You blanked the section regarding your drive by reviews on the page linked above. You can not blank other user's comments, especially if they are about you. --AdmrBoltz 21:02, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
Sorry it was a technical problem.

Your RfA

Rudra john cena: I am going to ask you to withdraw your RfA. You have only 164 edits including the few that have been deleted, and although you say in the RfA that you have edited Wikipedia for 2 years, you only registered this account 3 months ago, on October 19, 2013. If you had a previous account or are counting contributions on a project other than en.wikipedia, you should have explained that at the RfA, but as it is, you do not have the minimum experience here that the community expects of an administrator. In addition, you have had problems with some of our expectations of editors, some of which remain unresolved. You have also failed to transclude the RfA; competence with things like following those instructions is another thing people look for in evaluating candidates for adminship. It's too soon and is likely to be a bit embarrassing for you, so I'm asking you to withdraw before someone else closes it. Yngvadottir (talk) 21:35, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Also, should you choose to proceed, please ensure you properly list your RfA. --AdmrBoltz 22:15, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
I've closed the RFA per WP:NOTNOW (and WP:SNOW.) I think you should take on board the comments other editors have made, and remember that Wikipedia is extremely complex both in terms of the process and the community. Hang around for a bit and learn how it all works, but start with something more straightforward like WP:STUBs. Jamesx12345 22:44, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

False claims on your user page

Hello Rudra john cena. On your user page you claim to be an "administrator of wikipedia", but you are not. Please remove this claim. As you do not write English at a professional level, you may also wish to remove that claim. Regards, --Stfg (talk) 20:54, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

I second the message about claiming to already be an admin here; you should remove that (especially since there is currently a banner below it stating that you are being considered for adminship). Yngvadottir (talk) 21:37, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
If the user does not remove the false claims (being an admin and being considered for adminship) within a reasonable length of time, I think one of us should boldly do it. I hesitate to edit another editor's userpage, but we can't let these false claims stand. --MelanieN (talk) 00:20, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

You should take help...

Hi! If at all you mean to stay longer on Wikipedia for editing, you can still try. But you should take some help from editors who are well-versed at this and who are very patient and polite in teaching. You can reach out to editors through WP:Adopt-a-user project. Many editors will elsewise also help you in smaller stuff. But its better to have a mentor. They usually have a planned training sort of schedule, with guidance and timely evaluations and many barnstar awarding too. Think about it before its too late. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 04:06, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

On giving yourself special service awards

Dear Rudra John Cena, i see you've been giving yourself a number of service awards. I am sorry to say but you're undeserving of these since you don't meet any of the two requirements needed to get the awards. You've given yourself the vanguard editor award its counterpart which requires a wikipedian period of 16 years an at least 132,000 edits and also the Master editor 4 award which requires time period of at least 10 years and total edit count of more than 70,000. You clearly don't meet the requirements needed for them and as thus, you should remove them from your user page. In fact, unless you've been contributing through another account or IP address, you don't even meet the requirements for experienced editor. Therefore i kindly request you to remove these awards from your user page as it would be unkind to other deserving wikipedians.

On being a good articles mentor

Dear Rudra John Cena, its very good of you to be willing to help others but i must request you to kindly remove your name from the good article's mentors list since you clearly don't seem to be well acquainted in the good articles' nomination and related processes yourself, let alone helping others in becoming familiar with it. You've been (Seemingly) nominating random articles for good articles nominations (To the extent that you nominated the Big Bang article for nomination even though it was already a Featured Article). Therefore kindly remove your name from good articles' mentors list so that newcomers looking for help in the field might not get misleaded.

On showing yourself as a person able to contribute in professional level English

Dear Rudra John Cena, you claim to be able to write in professional level English when it is clear (Through your writings) that this is not true. While it is acceptable that you are able to understand and write in English your English is not professional level, therefore kindly change your English level specification from 5 to a lower, more appropriate level.

Thank You :-)

King Of The Wise (talk) 12:19, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

I know one should not edit other's user pages and what's more - i have not

Hey what did you mean telling me all this stuff about not editing other's user pages? I never have and i have not even touched your user page if you mean that. Any change done was done by someone else not me please do see your user page's History.

Also what did you mean by there being many other people with undeserving service awards on their page? That is no reason for it to be right for you to do. That's like saying i commited robbery because hundreds of others do so. That many people do the wrong thing DOES NOT make it RIGHT .

In addition you commented on my english taking my comments on your talk page as reference. Can you please tell me what mistakes I had made? And if you think i was wrong in saying your english is not upto the mark i can very well show you proofs (also the same has been said multiple times by other users). So please don't go on writing anything on my talk page just coz' i pointed out your mistakes.

Also if you are or were in anyway hurt by anything i had said i am sorry (i had said this in my previous comments too). I think i was polite enough and did not say anything uncivil. Still i say sorry yet again coz' i don't want to be on wrong terms with you (or anyone)

Thank You

New Page Patrol

Hi. I appreciate your enthusiasm but please do not patrol new pages. With only 65 edits to mainspace you do not yet have enough experience to be doing this. Also, I do not feel that your knowledge of English is sufficient to identify some of the issues we encounter with new pages. In the meantime, you may wish to read more about patrolling pages at WP:NPP. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 15:40, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

To add to Kudpung's good advice: The best way to become a Wikipedian is to edit articles. Start by reading articles on subjects that interest you and making small changes. Then make larger changes, add references, do things to expand and improve existing articles. After you have learned your way around article pages, article histories, article talk pages etc., then you can begin creating articles. When you see how your articles are received (do people correct them or propose them for deletion?) you will gather more understanding of how things work here. The problem is that you have been trying to start at the end point instead of the beginning. You have been nominating Good Articles or judging the articles of others without the necessary experience to do it properly. I think you will be a great Wikipedian someday but you need to be willing to "start at the beginning" and learn. If you keep doing things that are beyond your experience, you are likely to keep getting negative feedback. --MelanieN (talk) 22:17, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

Your submission at AfC David Reigle was accepted

David Reigle, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.
The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

David Reigle

I've placed this article as an scetch! in my namespace! and not official articlespace. He is not finished! and not yet published!. So what are your reasons? --Teutobald (talk) 14:17, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

Teutobald sorry, I haven't understand what is you tring to tell me. Please explain properly. Thank you . Rudra john cena (talk) 14:24, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
the article is not finished and not yet published so why should it be deleted? --Teutobald (talk) 14:26, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Teutobald If you are working on the article then you must put {{In creation}}above the article . So that pattrolers can understand that the editor is working in the article and no deletion tag must be put. From next time you must put this tag above the article.Rudra john cena (talk) 14:38, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks but is this one deleted? I thought he would be in my private section, so that only I can see him? How can I do that? Thanks --Teutobald (talk) 14:43, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Teutobald you can use your sandbox that is given in top of every Wiki page to create or experiment any article . If you create any article in your sandbox no one will interfere in that article. And if you need any assistance in Wiki you can ask me. Rudra john cena (talk) 15:00, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
That's what I wanted to do. I'll try it. Thanks for the help --Teutobald (talk) 15:12, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) You can also create named pages in your userspace. For example, you could create User:Teutobald/David Reigle. If you do this, you should place {{Userspace draft}} at the top of the page, and remove it when you move the page into article space. Hope this helps. --Stfg (talk) 15:18, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

Can you please have a look at my first article: David Reigle now, if it is OK and can be released? Thanks --Teutobald (talk) 08:24, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Teutobald I have seen your article and it was pretty good. If you don't have any problem then I like to do some changes. Rudra john cena (talk) 08:53, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks. Feel free to make it better, but let us first discuss, befor you delete content. --Teutobald (talk) 08:58, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Some more categories would be fine... --Teutobald (talk) 09:01, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Teutobald I had given a new infobox for the article. You can edit it and can mention more details about Daniel Reigle. Your article also needs some more reference based on online sources. Rudra john cena (talk) 09:19, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for that. Where exactly more sources needed? And what if such a thing does not exist? --Teutobald (talk) 09:22, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Teutobald Online sources are not always necessary. So if there is no online sources then just leave it. You can add more information about Daniel Reigle.

I think you can now publish the article. I pattroled it just few minutes ago and found no problems. Rudra john cena (talk) 09:51, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks. Can you do this for me, because I cannot do this yet. Thank you very much. --Teutobald (talk) 10:22, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Why 4 request? Make this sense or should I delete 3? --Teutobald (talk) 10:59, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Teutobald you can delete 4 request. Due to technical problem I requested it 4times. You have to put this {{subst:submit}} at the top of your article. So that it can be reviewed by other users.
I will be offline for few hours. You can leave me a message I will reply you later. Thank you. Rudra john cena (talk) 11:50, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for your help. It is online. I also linked it from the existing page Book of Dzyan so I deleted the orphan box. --Teutobald (talk) 13:28, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Teutobald welcome. If you need any more assistance you can feel free to ask.

Beside this I think you must create your own user page. Every registered user has his own user page. Rudra john cena (talk) 14:11, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Ok, I have made it so. Thanks for your assistance --Teutobald (talk) 14:43, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination declined

I have declined your speedy deletion nomination of Tumba Laurent Fabrice, as I don't agree that the article is too short to identify the subject of the article: it is perfectly clear that the subject of the article is a Congolese footballer named "Tumba Laurent Fabrice". The article is completely sourced, and so qualifies for WP:PROD BLP, but if you want to propose deletion by that route, I suggest leaving it for a day or two first. That will give the new editor who created the article a chance to find sources without being bitten by having a succession of deletion warnings one after another just after he or she has started editing. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:08, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

JamesBWatson ok. I will pattrol the article again after few days. And I suggest you to give a welcome message to the new editor and give him/her instructions about how he/she can contribute in future. Rudra john cena (talk) 11:25, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

Edit summaries

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary with every edit. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history.

The edit summary appears in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! AdmrBoltz 20:35, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

Concerns

Hello, Rudra john cena. Unfortunately I need to reiterate Kudpung's request that you stop patrolling and curating articles. You do not have the necessary experience or, in some cases, proficiency in English to carry out this function. You should start small by making contributions to smaller established articles and familiarizing yourself with this environment before you attempt more important tasks. You have recently marked a page for speedy deletion that did not meet the criteria; additionally, you skipped over an obviously promotional article that should have been deleted. If you do not voluntarily stop, we may have to seek a community topic ban that will compel you to stop performing these functions. --Laser brain (talk) 12:34, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

I agree. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:45, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Okay. Rudra john cena (talk) 12:47, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
I agree too. You should definitely stop doing things you're ill-experienced at. And please remove the - " this user is a new page patroller " userbox from your User page, so as not to mislead others into thinking you 'are' one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by King Of The Wise (talkcontribs) 13:41, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Remember The Roses

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Remember The Roses requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.remembertheroses.com/story.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

Proposed deletion of An Astrologer's Day

The article An Astrologer's Day has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable short story, nothing but plot summary and biographical details of author.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TheLongTone (talk) 23:34, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Rudra, the Summary section of this article is not in your usual writing style. Did you write it yourself, or does it come from somewhere? Regards, --Stfg (talk) 11:01, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Stfg The whole article was written by my brother, he is a university student, he written the article himself using my account. He does not have any account here in wiki so he used mine. Is there any problem with the article. Is there any problem with its grammer or style of writing. If there is any problem then let me know, I will inform him to rewrite the article properly. Rudra john cena (talk) 12:01, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Rudra, you absolutely must not do that. Sharing your account is not allowed -- please see WP:NOSHARE. Your brother can make an account for himself or edit from his IP address, but he cannot edit from your account. If you don't get blocked for this, you must change your account password and not tell your brother, or anyone else, your new password. Change it now, before you do anything else, OK? --Stfg (talk) 14:01, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Done. Thankyou. Rudra john cena (talk) 19:17, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Archival bot

Greetings again! Your user talk page archival bot is set up slightly incorrectly. Do you have any objection to me fixing it? VQuakr (talk) 08:48, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

VQuakr no objections, your help is needed. Rudra john cena (talk) 10:04, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Cool. You can look at the diff to see what I did. The 2 day archival delay was too short; many people edit only on weekends so it is counterproductive to kill conversations so quickly. I changed it to 30; obviously you can set it to whatever you want, though. I also changed the archival target to "Archive 1"; it was set to "Archive 19" which works fine except several templates including the talk page header template expect to find the first archive at 1 and will assume none exist if that page is not created. Happy editing! VQuakr (talk) 19:26, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
VQuakr thank you very much for your kind assistance. Rudra john cena (talk) 19:39, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Nomination of An Astrologer's Day for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article An Astrologer's Day is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/An Astrologer's Day until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. TheLongTone (talk) 14:03, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

It's not up to you to close an afd discussion. This happens when people who are not involved with the article have made a judgement. And if you have read the notability guidelines you clearly have not understood them. I afd'd the article because there is no claim of notability for the story: it needs to have been the subject of significant critical attention. There is no mention of this in your article. Widely anthologised maybe, but all critical attention I can find puts it in the wider context as an example of his work.TheLongTone (talk) 16:21, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
TheLongTone there is a claim of notability. In the article it is written that it is the first story of the world famous collection of stories Malgudi by the writer. So, it is significant and must be added to wikipedia. So, I think this discussion must be closed. Please remove the template for deletion. Rudra john cena (talk) 17:13, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
You do not understand. It is not up to you or me to close the afd. And there is nothing in the article that merits its separate existence.TheLongTone (talk) 17:20, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
  • And if you have read the notability guidelines you clearly have not understood them. — Why do you think only your understand is "clear" and Rudra's is not? But yes, article creator and involved editors/admins should not close an AFD. But as I can see they just said, but did not actually close it. --TitoDutta 18:13, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Thank you Titodutta for supporting me. If you don't mind, please review An Astrologer's Day and give a conclusion to keep the article or to delete. But as I stated the article is a notable work and TheLongTone is just not understanding it. So please Tito please review it and take the article to a conclusion. Thank you. Rudra john cena (talk) 18:27, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Thank you Titodutta. :) Rudra john cena (talk) 18:47, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

() Good work, there. Just one thing about notability: Rudra, you said "there is a claim of notability", and that misses the point. Some kinds of articles can survive speedy deletion tags by having a claim of notability, but to survive an AFD, just claiming notability isn't enough -- an AFD discussion needs to establish whether it really is notable. In this case, Tito has done that and you're all right, but you need to remember this difference between CSD and AFD. --Stfg (talk) 01:08, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

Stfg have you given your views on the AfD discussion.

Need assistance

I have just created an article about a horror short story. I have previously created an article on the same story but due to copyright error it was deleted. So, this time with caution I have created this article. Remember The Roses . I request any one of you to go to the article and inform me if there is any more problem. Please don't tag any speedy deletion templates. If there is any problem about the page please inform me I will try to modify it. Thank you.VQuakr, Anna Frodesiak, Stfg for your help.

Rudra john cena (talk) 19:19, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Your new version seems free of copyright problems, and I don't see reason for it to be speedy deleted. Whether the story is notable is another question, and I'm not sure -- can you find any more sources? It needs copy editing for grammar and spelling and to remove capitals, which we don't use. Let me know if you would like me to copy edit it. --Stfg (talk) 22:28, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Stfg if you can do the copy edit for me, it will be very helpful for me. Please do the copy edit for me. Thank you

Rudra john cena (talk) 06:06, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Done. Here is a diff showing you all the changes I've made. Please ask if you are unsure of anything. (I'll be away for the rest of today, but will respond when I return.) --Stfg (talk) 10:59, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Thanks a lot for your help. So, now can I delete the {{In creation}} tag from the top of the article?. In addition I have created one more article An Astrologer's Day, kindly Stfg can you review it and inform me If there is any problem with the article. Many thanks for your assistance. Rudra john cena (talk) 11:25, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
You're welcome. Yes, you can removed the {{In creation}} whenever you like. I won't work on the other article, as I see that other editors have done good things there today, but I've supported it at the AfD. --Stfg (talk) 00:53, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Okay. Thank you. I'm creating another article about a poem. After it was completed please have a look. Rudra john cena (talk) 06:48, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Stfg as I mentioned earlier that I am working on a poem, I have partially completed the article. Please have a look on To India - My Native Land. And inform me if you find any problems. Rudra john cena (talk) 11:18, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

Indian writers writing in English DYK

Do you want to work in Indians' English works? It might be interesting. I have randomly chosen Untouchable (novel) of Mulk Raj Anand. We need to 5x expand the article. Currently it has Prose size (text only): 680 B (119 words) "readable prose size", we need to take it to 3400 B. Could you add a short plot section, in case you have read the novel? --TitoDutta 18:59, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Titodutta I would like to contribute but unfortunately, I haven't read the novel yet. I need some time if you could borrow me some time, I will try my best to contribute for the article. Thank you. Rudra john cena (talk) 19:12, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta Okay, I will have a look on the novel, and try to make a plot summary of it. If there is any more article which is related to Indian English then please inform me. Rudra john cena (talk) 19:30, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta I know both of them and I have read many poems that has been written by them. I can create a article about "To India, My Native Land". I can also create an article about the "Our Casuarina Tree" written by Toru Dutt, if they both are not created already. Rudra john cena (talk) 20:29, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
  • Only "To India, My Native Land" is fine. You don't need to read a novel just to expand article. Poetry is a different thing. This particular poem is very short. We need to check availability of sources before writing "Our Casuarina Tree". Do you know about Sister Gargi's lifelong research work Swami Vivekananda in the West: New Discoveries. Someone nominated that for deletion claiming it was not notable. :) Take your time. "An Astrologer's Day" AFD is in much better condition now with 3 keep votes, I'll try to clean it up. TitoDutta 20:35, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta I think we need to change the reviewing system. And yes I am starting "To India.....Land" right now please help me with some good reliable sources. Thank you. Rudra john cena (talk) 20:45, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
  • Changing reviewing system is a long and complicated thing. Yes, you may start the article if you want. Not necessarily you have to start now, you may start anytime you want. TitoDutta 20:49, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta as I have mentioned earlier that I am gonna create that article. I have partially completed the article. It will be helpful If you have a look on To India - My Native Land. If you find any problem with the article then please Inform me. Rudra john cena (talk) 11:13, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta I have finished the article please have a look I have added a new section to it. If you think any more modifications are needed then you can inform me or you can solve the problems. Rudra john cena (talk) 11:55, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta can you make the changes you mentioned as my net connection is not working proper. You can take time to do this.

Thankyou for helping me. Rudra john cena (talk) 12:11, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

  • Yes, I'll make some changes (my first focus will be on references) in next 24 hours. I can see you are editing from mobile. Editing from mobile should be very difficult, I could never do it properly (it's a different thing the last phone I tried for Wikipedia editing was a general one with a 2G connection) --14:43, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta You will not believe me, I have created three articles using my mobile with 2G connection. It is very painful when you are doing a major edit and suddenly the connection fails. By the way are you a adminstrator. Rudra john cena (talk) 14:53, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Ok. I gonna start another article but I need some suggestions can you suggest some Titodutta. Beside this are you a member of Wikipedia deceased users. Rudra john cena (talk) 15:18, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta which article ??? Rudra john cena (talk) 17:30, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta any atricle can be nominated for DYK if it was earlier declared a Good article. But To India - My Native Land haven't been nominated as good article.

New Page Patrol

You have been asked by several admins to refrain from patrolling pages until you have significantly more experience. However, you have disregarded these requests and you still only have 147 edits to mainspace wich is far far too short of demonstrating that you understand our policies.

Whether your patrols are accurate or not, I'm asking you now for the last time to stop tagging pages, otherwise you may be faced with official sanctions or even a loss of your editing privileges. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:58, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

What! I haven't patrolled any new pages in the last 7 days. If you think I have patrolled then please mention me the link to that page. In the last 7 days I was busy with my articles. You can't give warnings without any proofs. So, please Kudpung show proofs first, before complaining. Regards Rudra john cena (talk) 09:10, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Kudpung I haven't patrolled any pages since 27th of January 2014. Rudra john cena (talk) 09:14, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Perhaps you should check your patrol log again. The CSD you tagged was indeed accurate but you do not have enough experience for this task. If you would like to help maintain the integrity of of the encyclopedia, I suggest you enroll at the WP:CVUA and learn about anti vandalism. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 09:31, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
dpung|talk]]) 09:31, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Kudpung being a wikipedian I have the right to maintain the rules of Wikipedia. The article which you are talking about is indeed a advertisement. And I have put CSD tag because it violates the rules. So, I haven't done anything wrong I deed what a true wikipedian has to do. And earlier I have done mistakes that doesn't mean, I will repeat the mistakes again. Last day I have gone through all the wikipedia:deletion policies. Mistakes are common in life, no one is there in the universe who haven't done mistakes. You cannot complain me unless I have done any mistake. So, next time when you complain, make sure that I have done any mistakes. Regards. Rudra john cena (talk) 09:47, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
It's not a question of whether you make mistakes or not, it's a matter of you having sufficient experience, which several admins do not think you have. They are perfectly within their rights, as is any other user, to ask you to gain more experience before attempting tasks which you are not entirely familiar with. We are always prepared to help you, but we would prefer to help without you having to learn from mistakes. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 10:57, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
  • Let me add a user toolbox here for quick check (To some extent I have become a mentor of Rudra).
Yes, a good number of his patrolled pages have been deleted. It is alarming. BTW, I used to think only reviewers can patrol pages (it's a different think I never used it until becoming reviewer). TitoDutta 15:37, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

The Frog and the Nightingale

You appear to be putting considerable effort into putting the entire poem The Frog and the Nightingale into an article. As it appears at first glance that this poem is still under copyright, and thus it would be a WP:COPYVIO copyright violation to include it, it is likely to be quickly deleted. I suggest not expending further effort entering it unless you can show reason why WP:COPYVIO does not apply. --Nat Gertler (talk) 15:18, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

NatGertier , Titodutta please have a look now. And if you think modification is needed then please feel free to modify it. Rudra john cena (talk) 17:20, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta I need a help. Can you tell me how to create a template for a userbox. For example how can I create a template for the userbox that has been modified by you in the teahouse. Rudra john cena (talk) 20:43, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Titodutta thankyou, I have created the userbox with your idea.
This user is not an administrator but sometimes seeing his excellent works and persuasive arguments you may confuse him as an admin.
Titodutta I want to take An Astrologer's Day for good article nomination can you have a look and fix the problems so that I can nominate it. Rudra john cena (talk) 10:22, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
