Hi
Just seen your edits to English cricket team. Were you there at the Oval, or writing that from TV, radio and newspaper reports? I know I well remember groaning when I heard South Africa won the toss, and then all the standing ovations for Trescothick (thrice, I think), Thorpe (twice, but with one hell of a reception when he came onto the pitch for the first time), Stewie, and Flintoff (out trying to get to his century). I'll add my thoughts later.
Also, I like the idea of an England's greatest players section. We'll have to be careful from over-zealous NPOV warriors, but I'm sure we can find some greats we all agree on. I've put my first punt in already:) Let me know what you think.
Finally, may I invite you to Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket. A corner of Wikipedia where cricket-lovers can chat about what their doing with cricket-related articles, etc. Kind regards, jguk 23:41, 22 Jan 2005 (UTC)
