Nowruz in Iran

@Wario-Man: Oh, sure. We can do it. There are many details on regional and ethnic variations of Nowruz throughout Iran that could be mentioned there.

Good. Currently its entry (on template) links to the related section on main article which is not good. Because when people click on links of a navbox/template, they expect to see a new article and read more specific info and details. Reliability of some maps

Hey Rye-96, hope that everything is going well for you. Some days ago, Wario-Man asked me about the reliability of some maps, i went on the Persian Wiki to ask about them, however there is still no answer from the Persian board. Thank you, Wikaviani. The maps do seem to be flawed, especially the one concerning the Azerbaijani population figures. I'm currently a bit occupied right now, but I will try to come up with some improvements as soon as possible. Thank you for letting me know about it.

Thanks for your response, yeah, the one about the Azerbaijani population is probably unreliable since all turkish populations seem to be listed as "Azerbaijanis". Authenticity of the material

Hey Rye-96, I am writing this message to politely but seriously warn you about your recent edits on the Iranian hip hop; as far as I know everything without being personally benefited from the whole movement, what you are doing by removing a lot of critical material (which are undoubtedly proven throughout the references from the media and the web itself) would turn the whole article into an advertisement for a group of people (with wrong statistics and information) and make a lot of others upset. As you may not be able to remember (from back in 98'/ year 2k1), I and a lot of my friends including Salome which you kindly wrote about, are carefully taking care of what have happened as a small history and we would not tolerate such an action specially because then there would be a lot of more references and sources to cite and there would be a lot more people to provide proof to the lines that I have written above. So please consider contributing to it instead of eliminating the critical material from the article. You can also ignore my suggestion and ruin what a lot of people have worked for. @Soso freak: It's good news that you're aware of the fact that one needs to be mindful about that. As long as the "critical material" you're trying to add to the article is not supported by WP:RS, I'm afraid your knowledge on the movement is not quite relevant. Nevertheless, I do acknowledge your efforts and I hope you would help keep the article clean from WP:OR.

@Rye-96: This is always good to respect others and to act accordingly, but I don't see [[WP:CIVIL|that] type of mutual consideration here. According to WP:RS, WP:POV and whatever other codes of conduct on Wikipedia. This is not a robot and what I did is called a contribution to the Wikipedia and, you may be one of my students in PNU right now and of course be sure that my FIRST-HAND research material goes out to the M.A and Ph.D. thesis for my students and colleagues rather than to be discussed here; I guess we would need a third-party to help since you don't look to be willing to solve this, now I have to ask for some of the moderators to take care of this case especially I don't see that type of appreciation and I guess I know where you are coming from, sorry to say something that may not be very pleasant... but this is NOT IRIB, you can not just censor people and a part of their history and claim to be having egalitarian points of view; this is more like Kamalolmolk pre-university, I hope that fifteen years have not changed the attitude from graduates of that center into this. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Iranian_hip_hop, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.

@Soso freak: I do appreciate your good-faith contributions and I did make an attempt here to demonstrate that. However, the content you’re trying to add to the article is in conflict with WP:NOR and WP:VER. Your teaching career and the high school I was graduated from are absolutely irrelevant here and do not change anything regarding your violation of Wikipedia’s most fundamental content policies. If you think this conversation is not helping, feel free to ask for moderators’ help.

Back with you @Rye-96:, hi again. I'm reading this after a heavy year, I see you are guarding something that belongs to me, not personally but to a considerable extent, culturally and emotionally. Let you know my main contribution (which nobody else have ever dared to handle before) usually goes to the support of all of the people who we are writing here about here, you may be seriously unaware of the fact that you may be going to write about me in the same way me whenever I decide to because people like me exist in the higher levels of work, dear Sir.

Now, let me know clearly what is wrong with this text (which parts?) and its references in the first place, if you are an EDITOR, you reduced this edit, I have added to it, let me know what is wrong with this at once...

Iran's premier rap group (best said super-group) '021' is named after the telephone area code of Tehran; it was first mentioned in a highly political mixtape by Yashar and Shayan during the 1990s. Soroush Lashkari Hichkas, used to be living in the same neighbourhood as his older friends 'Yashar and Shayan'. He was also attending the meeting places for rappers and metal-music fans in Tehran. The very first meetings were organized by the rappers (Badnaam clan) in the west Tehran (Namely Shahrak-e Gharb, Golestan Shopping Center and Ekbatan Complex) together with radical film-makers and skaters; together they shot a trilogy Jackass movie for the first time in Iran, which of course gained a lot of attention; although the complete movie does not get the air time on the TV of Iran because of scenes including punk rock, metal music, and of course the pranks , but it became viral in the days of Mini-DV cameras and Video-CD players (As also evident in the works of contemporary Graffiti writers like Keyvan Shovir and A1one). 021 clique (formerly the Persian Clique forum on Yahoo! Groups and Orkut.com) came into being only after the scarce number of artist and people from close subcultures (those related to the western countries and thus banned by the media in Iran) had the chance to exchange their styles of interest, ranging from making skateparks and doing Graffiti Art to finding band-mates and of course to record their songs in the sound studios.The Badnaam clan in west Tehran and Yashar and Shayan Duo act whom together co-founded 021 are still active as the former (clan) publishing online media and the latter duo renamed into Vaajkhonyaa.

AND THIS: Zedbazi, founded in April 2002, is regarded as the pioneer of gangsta rap in Iran. The band quickly gained a huge popularity among the youth, due mainly to their use of explicit lyrics, littered with profanity and depictions of sex and drug use. They are credited with starting a new movement in Iranian music.

AND THIS: After a decrease in the interest to hiphop music and rap (between years 2002 and 2006) and the political conditions in which a considerable number of people with dual identities fled Iran, as a reaction to the commercializations in culture, in this case the Persian-rap and hiphop, Soroush Lashkari (Hichkas) turned into the rapper who decided to stay in Iran and publish legal music which was rejected by the officials in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance long before 2010 when he left Iran. Later on he became one of today Iran's renowned rappers. Regardless of the self-released debut album in 2002, his subsequent (2006) well-received album Jangale Asfalt ("Asphalt Jungle"), produced by Mahdyar Aghajani, incorporated a fusion with Middle Eastern harmonies and contributed remarkably to the evolution of Iranian hip hop. He gained international fame after being feature in Bahman Ghobadi's highly political movie "No One Knows about the Persian Cats" in 2009

Indeed the levels of education and awareness are the prerequisites to this job (translation and authorship when we speak about culture [History]). Please don't appreciate me, just appreciate the 20 years of the activity of us instead if you don't respect art.

This is seriously genius. I check out "xyz cuisine" pages all the time, and the way you laid out Iranian Cuisine is SO VERY USEFUL, and should be the standard for all wiki cuisine pages. Well done and thank you, Ryan!! Is there a discussion somewhere on wikipedia that I can join in to advocate for a shift to your organization? Or did you find this grid method elsewhere?? @JGray: Thank you! I'm glad you noticed my contributions to that article. I honestly don't remember if I was inspired by another article; but yeah, it didn't look like the way it does now by then. I had to come up with a totally new order. Not that I know of any discussions on this topic, but I would definitely support the idea.
