Hi. When you recently edited Conversion electron mössbauer spectroscopy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CEMS (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Tay al-Ard / Tay al-Arz

edit

Re this diff: changing an article's name is not a minor edit!

I appreciate that Arabic has very variable transliteration, but the criterion on Wikipedia is to go with the one most supported by reliable secondary sources, and by far the dominant one in book sources is neither "tay al-ard" nor "tay al-arz", but tayy al-ard". Gordonofcartoon (talk) 05:05, 23 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your notice, You are right , but I think,it is not a considerable matter in the actual concept of Tayy al-ard.Thus, I know the changing an article name is not a minor edit but I didn't attend when have choosed it.--Sahehco (talk) 12:16, 23 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Newspaper infoboxes

edit

Please do not make up your own infobox for articles about newspapers. Use the standard {{Infobox newspaper}}. Bgwhite (talk) 07:24, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Also look at some of the other changes made. It is Iran and not iran for example. Use proper refs, Google search of your ref returns nothing. Bgwhite (talk) 07:28, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Bgwhite:, OK and thank you for the hint.I didn't know, but I'll consider afterwards. Can we cite to Persian Wikipedia for the newspapers' articles?--Sahehco (talk) 07:31, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
No. We can't use Wikipedia in references. Wikipedia is unreliable because anybody can edit it. It is best to use English references, but Farsi references is just fine. So, you can use the same refs from Persian Wikipedia. In case you didn't know, information from standard infoboxes is used in various places, such as Wikidata and in Google searches. Category:Persian Magazines

edit

Hi, what is this category about exactly? Is it about Persian-language magazines, or magazines published in Persia? Would Farsi and Iranian, respectively, not be more appropriate in those cases? Also, please have a look at the category tree under Category:Magazines and name any categories you make in accordance with that tree. If you need help with naming categories, let me know here (I'll watch your talk page) or on my talk page. Thanks. --Randykitty (talk) 14:23, 29 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Thank you for your notification. about the name of category, Iranian is not appropriate; because it refers to the magazines which has been published only in Iran. Farsi can be good. But, when I write "English magazines", it refers to the name of the language not the land.I'll consider the Category tree and will ask you if I had a problem in naming categories. Thus,I should thank you again.--Sahehco (talk) 15:14, 29 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

If I understand you correctly, this category should be about magazines that are published using the Persian language. Such magazines are not necessarily Iranian. Is that correct? --Randykitty (talk) 09:09, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Completely true :) --Sahehco (talk) 09:19, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
In that case, I will redirect the category "Persian magazines" to the new category "Persian-language magazines". "XXX-language magazines" is for magazines written in language XXX, regardless where they are published. You don't need to change this in the articles that are currently in this category, as a bot will do this automatically in a week.
I see there is a subcategory "Published in Fars". Does this mean the same, i.e. periodicals published in the Fars language? How about "Fars magazines", are those magazines published in the Fars language? --Randykitty (talk) 09:49, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Fars is a region in the south of Iran. There are 450 articles which are classified into the categories by the historical era.Fars Magazines will divide to 4 subcategories(The first one has been created).but Published in Fars is where I want to have all article (not classified) to be exportable with a bot easily for many applications.I will modify or eleminate it with a bot after all articles will be created.Thank you again--Sahehco (talk) 10:01, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
OK, so these are publications grouped according to where they are published, in principle regardless of the language they are published in? --Randykitty (talk) 10:11, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Yes--Sahehco (talk) 10:18, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your article creations

Hello Sahehco. Please, could you add at least official websites of the newspapers, if there are any? Your articles need better sourcing, I'm afraid that the ministry list is not enough. Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 10:43, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Vejvančický:Hi,Unfortunately, because some of this newpapers aren't publishing currently, there are no online sources about them(Specially in english). What is very important in these articles,is the historical value of the journalism background in Iran, which are for the first time translated to english by me. We have all of this articles in Persian wikipedia and I could make you sure that all of them have accepted there (There have been proved the notability of sources and articles). Please Don't afraid about their natability, although there are no english sources. It can be useful in WP:Journalism. Thank you for your notice--Sahehco (talk) 10:58, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Okay, thanks for your explanation. The sources don't have to be in English, any reliable and independent information is important for verifiability, the language is not that important. Please, add more sources if you can. Thanks. --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 11:04, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Category:Publications in Fars vs Category:Published in Fars

Just curious as to why you changed this category to Category:Published in Fars. The former (previous) category is far superior in terms of English syntax. Proposed deletion of Reihaneh Jabbari

edit

The article Reihaneh Jabbari has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article is a person notable for only one event, the event itself has no article. Also fails Perpetrator or Victim of crime guidelines, regardless of whether you see her as a criminal or a victim of the state

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Broken references on Pano (chemistry)

Hey, I noticed some broken refs on Pano (chemistry). The page includes some linked references like "Dias et al. 2011", but doesn't provide those references itself. Since you created the page, would you mind updating the article to include those references directly? Pano (chemistry)

edit

Hello, I was unable to find any sources at all using this term. Do you have any? The subjects of the article – the polyatomic nonmetals – certainly exist: but I have found no indication that "pano" is ever used to refer to them. So I have requested speedy deletion, which you can contest if you find any reliable source using the term. Double sharp (talk) 08:25, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you copy content from other Wikipedia articles again, please use a descriptive edit summary so you do not violate the copyright of Wikipedia's other contributors. See Wikipedia:Splitting. I have deleted the "pano" page per above and as a copyright-violating duplication. —Kusma (t·c) 09:07, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Double sharp: If there is any reliable source to support the use of the term "Pano", please add this abbreviation to the text at Nonmetals#Polyatomic_nonmetals, with a source, and it would then be appropriate to include a link to that article from the disambiguation page at Pano. I see that the article has now been deleted, so I will remove it from the dab page. Please do not add unsourced material to the encyclopedia again. PamD 09:10, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Diannaa: Thank you for the attention; You are apparently right but I have not copied from that source directly as I know it has a copyright problem. I have only transferred the text from this Wikipedia article and I did not know that is a copyrighted information. Therefore we have to eliminate the text from that page as well.--Sahehco (talk) 20:06, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for the mistake, the bot does not check the wiki and I did not spot that it was internal copying rather than from elsewhere on the web. What you need to do when copying from one article to another is to mention in your edit summary where you got the prose from. In fact such attribution is required under the terms of our license. Please see WP:copying within Wikipedia for more information on this topic. I've re-added the material and provided the required attribution in the edit summary. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:21, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wikipeia:Wikiproject Radiopharmacy/Radiopharmaceuticals, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bracco. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

List of radiopharmaceuticals

edit

Hi, I have moved a page you created to List of radiopharmaceuticals as I assumed it was intended to be an article page. If not you can move it to the intended Wikipedia space page if it is something to do with a project. 14:18, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

@Graeme Bartlett: That was not created in a wrong namespace. According to my intention in establishment the Wikiproject of radiopharmacy, I am about to prepare a list of the non-existed released radiopharmaceuticals to create their pages. Obviously, after creation the articles it would be possible to make a list-type article in the main namespace. Nevertheless, I just copy the contents into the previously deleted page (it would be under development), just as a part of the WP:Wikiproject of Radiopharmacy.--Sahehco (talk) 21:25, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
In that case it was a typo "Wikipeia" when you meant "Wikipedia". Ps list type article do not have to be list of things with articles already! You are welcome to move the page back, or copy it and leave the page as an article too. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:38, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Sorry! Just now saw this after nominating the "Wikipeia" (sic) version for speedy as a duplication of List of radiopharmaceuticals. Apologies for the confusion. Mabalu (talk) 13:09, 21 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
No problem, I took a mistake twice :)--Sahehco (talk) 13:12, 21 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

AI-generated articles?

edit

Hello, I'm Fram. An edit that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or another application using such technology). Raw text outputted by such such programs and applications is almost always unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and your edit has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Fram (talk) 09:53, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
