Disambiguation link notification for July 24
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ilona Szabó de Carvalho, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Prospect. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.

Copyright, again
editI had to remove two of your most recent edits from 2024 Wayanad landslides because they copied text verbatim from https://news.abplive.com/states/kerala/wayanad-landslides-toll-crosses-350-movements-on-radar-raise-hope-mohanlal-kerala-guidelines-issued-for-burial-of-remains-updates-1707731 and https://www.timesnownews.com/india/wayanad-landslide-358-killed-206-still-missing-mohanlal-reaches-rescue-site-mundakkai-kerala-article-112241531.
Please read Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources, specifically:
Can I copy text to Wikipedia that I got from somewhere else? and
Can I copy if I change the text a little bit?

- @Celjski Grad Hey, but this time I didn't copy. The words were sinilar😅 Sai 1609 (talk) 11:19, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- The text is identical and/or nearly verbatim:
- news.abplive.com: "the search operation was called off at 9:15 PM without concrete results. Officials clarified that it was unclear whether the signal was from a human or an animal."
- Your text: "the search operation was called off at 2130 hours without concrete results. Officials clarified that it was unclear whether the signal was from a human or an animal."
- and
- www.timesnownews.com: "The rescue efforts are being hampered due to large boulders and logs, deposited in residential areas of Mundakkai and Chooralmala by the landslides."
- Your text: "The rescue efforts are being hampered due to large boulders and logs deposited in the residential areas of Mundakkai and Chooramala."
- and
- www.timesnownews.com: "The Army is building a bridge in the Punchirimattom region to allow the deployment of Hitachi machines for search and rescue operations. On Saturday, Air Marshal B. Manikantan, AOC-in-C, and Brigadier Salil, Station Commander of Pangode Military Station, conducted an aerial survey of the affected areas to evaluate the situation."

- You can’t just change words in the sentence to different words, especially if it results in a grammatically questionable sentence. Please read the links I posted above. At some point an admin is going to get involved a you run the risk of being blocked.
- indianexpress.com: ”The Kerala government has requested the deployment of advanced radar equipment, including one Xaver radar and four Reeco radars, which will be airlifted from Delhi in an Indian Air Force aircraft.”
- Your text: “Reports said that the Kerala government has requested deep search radars including one Xaver radar and four Reeco radars which will be airlifted from Delhi by the Indian Air Force” Celjski Grad (talk) 12:47, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Celjski Grad Then how would we report that particular incident? Sai 1609 (talk) 12:50, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- First of all, "one Xaver radar and four Reeco radars" doesn't mean anything to normal people, including it is a red flag. I wouldn't even make the edit at all, the paragraph's first sentence already mentions radar being used for searching. Celjski Grad (talk) 13:21, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Celjski Grad Oh Okay Sai 1609 (talk) 13:42, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
