—Preceding unsigned comment added by Footwiks (talk • contribs) 08:58, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
Footwiks (talk) 02:58, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

South Korea
editHi, congratulations for South Korea qualification to London 2012. Do you think you will have chances for a medal ?
Malik --93.33.100.233 (talk) 16:55, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- I think that chances are opened to all team play at the London. Saint9016 (talk) 16:59, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I agree. What's the general feeling in South Korea? Unfortunately, very often people seems not to be so interested in Olympic Football and they would exchange a gold medal with a friendly match victory. Is it the same in South Korea ?
Malik --93.33.100.233 (talk) 17:05, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- In South Korea, Olympic football is so important for players because if they won the medal, they will be exempted from military service (military service period is two years!!). It's so serious in South Korea men, especially footballers. So we are interested in olympic football. Saint9016 (talk) 17:11, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- Wow, that's so interesting to hear. Do you aslo have interest in other 스포츠 (that's the only Korean word I know, I hope it's right :D), and you cheeer 4 Korean athletes&teams also in smaller 스포츠 like Judo, Taekwondo, Short Track, Archery etc?
Malik --93.33.100.233 (talk) 17:16, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm interst in other 스포츠 (you're right!), but major sports that have pro league is more popular and more accessible get the information. These 4 sports get some medals in olympic so I know about that sports but my knowledge about these sports is not detail. Saint9016 (talk) 17:24, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Deletion of South Korean football club articles
editDear Saint9016. I am currently trying to save the Chohung Bank FC and Cheil Industries FC articles which are subject to the current AfD. I have also raised the issue of deletion of South Korean football club articles at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football#Existing and proposed Korean club deletions. Do you have any further information that might improve the articles such as team colours, logo etc. Kind regards. League Octopus (League Octopus 19:35, 18 July 2012 (UTC)).
- A further thought - do you know of other South Korean editors that may be interested in this issue? League Octopus (League Octopus 20:24, 18 July 2012 (UTC))

15:43, 31 December 2012 (UTC)~

Hi, I just noticed a group allocation match between South Korea and Iraq in the 1972 AFC Asian Cup. It says Korea Republic lost 2–4 in the penalty shoot-out. However, the listed penalty takers of Korea Republic all missed their penalties, so the result should be 0–4. But this is either not possible by football rules. There must be something wrong here. I noticed that you added the penalty takers for Korea Republic in 2011-07-24. Could you please look at the issue and provide reliable sources for that? Thanks.
