Titoisti
Inoltre, nella relativa discussione, l'utente Director riferendosi a me, che avevo citato il termine -titoismo-, ha scritto The term is only used as such in Italy among right-wing loonies: la traduzione letterale di -loonies- è -mentecatti- ossia un insulto! Passando (talk) 15:06, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

want to create a page
Hi I want to create a page for my local business directory in Saudi Arabia called Daleeli. Could you please help me on this ?
Thanks!!
- Well, first of all, I have to invite you to familiariase yourself with our guideline on COI editing, which you can find at WP:COI. The point is that while COI editing is not forbidden, it's strongldy discouraged. That said, you can still create the article – and I would help you –, but only if your business directory meets our requirements: to be included as a topic, something has to be notable, which, in wikijargon, means that it must have received significant coverage in reliable, third-party sources. If your local business directory does not meet this requirement, it's very probable that an article about it would end up deleted. Salvio Let's talk about it! 09:44, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

I respectfully ask that you please recuse yourself from the case that has been requested regarding me.
I believe these edits -
- 09:40, 1 December 2014 I understand your concerns, but the most reasonable thing to do here, in my opinion, is to apply Occam's razor and conclude it was Lightbreather. (After an editor whom I'd had numerous disputes with advised that he thought I was not the IP whom you blocked me over for evasion.)
- 15:23, 13 December 2014 There is no gentle way of saying this, but, put simply, I don't believe her when she says she didn't do it; she has already lied before....
- 10:11, 14 December 2014 LB can say whatever she wants to protect her privacy; then again, if she lies, then she can't complain when people no longer consider her trustworthy, which is what happened here.
- 15:34, 14 December 2014 Let's recap: she violated the sock puppetry policy by editing logged out to avoid scrutiny, now claiming she was doing it to protect her privacy.... (emphasis mine)
- 10:26, 6 February 2015 I could support this only if Lightbreather was also topic banned from administrative noticeboards and restricted from requesting, suggesting, supporting, opposing, or even hinting at the possibility that another editor may be sanctioned, otherwise we are simply encouraging (and rewarding) vexatious litigations and forum shopping.
- 19:49, 26 February 2015 Well, Lightbreather *has* edited logged out in the past and, when asked about it, played dumb, so it's hardly unreasonable, under the circumstances, to wonder whether she's doing it again – though, as it turns out, in this case she was innocent. Anyway, regardless of any issues Lightbreather may have had with socking, her behaviour is, IMHO, generally disruptive: I consider her a vexatious litigant and a person who never drops the stick.
- 20:25, 26 February 2015 72.223.98.118 (talk) and 69.16.147.185 (talk) (Lightbreather denies having operated the latter, but I didn't believe her and still don't).
- 21:11, 26 February 2015 Well, now we can add personal attacks to your list of transgressions.
- 21:34, 26 February 2015 Yes, really. I commented on this personal attack because it's the one I saw.
- 20:09, 26 April 2015 On second thoughts, it's probably fairer to describe Lightbreather's conduct as a way to harass another editor all the while being able to claim deniability. Either way, I believe a block is necessary. (After recent block for "outing" that was reversed.)
- as well as your comments in our recent email exchange re the last block, make it clear that your ability to judge my behavior is compromised and that in fact you have probably already made up your mind about me. Lightbreather (talk) 05:41, 2 May 2015 (UTC)

Meghan Chavalier Wikipedia Page
Dear Salvio,
I would like to know why my page was deleted from Wikipedia. I have been in the entertainment industry for 25 years. I am an adult film actress and transgender and believe this is why my page was deleted. I starred in over 200 adult films, more than Jenna Jameson who is also on Wikipedia among other adult film actors and actresses. I have released 6 books and sold over 20 thousand books and have released 3 cd's. I am also the founder of Stopping The Hate which is an organization for the LGBT Community. Just because others who may not know me don't feel I am worthy of a Wikipedia page does not mean that I'm not. I was the first transgender woman to sign a contract in the adult film industry as well as the first to release their autobiography. I am just as notable as any other person in the entertainment industry.
I appreciate your timely response to my request to have my page unblocked and relisted on Wikipedia.
Thank you Sincerely Meghan Chavalier Email: meghanchavalier@gmail.com Website: meghanchavalier.com
- Hello Meghan. The article about you was deleted after a discussion open to all members of the community, where the commenters favoured deletion; as such, I can't unilaterally restore the page. That said, this deletion had nothing to do with your gender identity or your profession, but rather was due to the fact that you were not considered "notable" (it's a term of art, please don't take it personally). To be considered notable on Wikipedia, a person must have received significant coverage in reliable, third-party sources. Since, when your article was discussed, you appeared not to meet this threshold, the page was deleted. Salvio Let's talk about it! 09:51, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

Dear Administrator,
This is regarding a deletion of my username and ip address from the revision history of the page 'M.Kannappan'.I would like to remove my personal details from the revision history page as i didn't realize it would stay there publicly as i had done the edits when i was begginning to use Wiki.
It would be great if you could delete my username and ip address from the revision history due to personal privacy concerns.
Below is the link for the page https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=M._Kannappan&action=history
Many thanks
Kind regards,

This user is appealing his block, applied by yourself on the basis, according to the block log, of private evidence. I understand fully how this might arise, but of course it makes it difficult for any other admin to deal with the unblock request. Would you feel able to e-mail me with the relevant evidence, given that you cannot yourself deal with the request. I hope that you would feel confident, given my duration of service here, that I could be trusted not to be indiscreet. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 17:23, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
- I looked at the unblock request and started to write a review of it, but I think a better option is for Hanibal911 to email arbcom and get them to review the block instead. In terms of behaviour, I don't see any obvious evidence that the original reason for blocking - persistent copyvios of sources - is relevant any more. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 10:33, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
- That's a good idea, I was hoping a functionary would see his appeal and contact me, but nobody has so far; so, pointing him in BASC's direction may be the best idea.
@Anthony.bradbury:, I am sorry but (a small) part of the evidence I based my block on cannot be shared with anyone who is not subjected to the Foundation's privacy policy (because it's CU evidence)... Please understand that this is not due to the fact I don't trust you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 16:51, 12 June 2015 (UTC)

Aspersions
I'd be happy to provide evidence if the committee would do us the service of OPEN proceedings. I intend on reverting you as your removal was not appropriate. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 13:50, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- I have reverted and added in a link so you will not be able to say it is casting aspersions without evidence. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 13:55, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- It's still not what I'd call a "personal mission." Would you call it a personal mission if an administrator thinking BLP violations particularly detrimental to the credibility/health of the project, started enforcing the BLP policy?
Incidentally, reverting an arbitrator or a clerk on a case page usually results in sanctions. Salvio Let's talk about it! 14:19, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- It was inappropriate being removed in the first place, the fact that it was objected to would give it more creditability that the committee is trying to look out for their own. It isn't uncommon for groups of people to gain a collective feeling of community. It's natural that you (the committee) would want to protect those in your community as a "us vs them" mindset. That was part of the problem, this sanction wasn't because it was needed, it was done by an arb/admin who has strong feelings about that person and subject. Now the committee is doing everything in secrecy and trying to avoid the embarrassment a full accounting of the actions would call for if it was any other admin or editor. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 14:32, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- Look, let's be fair, all three admins, in my opinion, did something wrong and all three could have faced sanctions, had we not granted everyone amnesty. Under the circumstances, we could have demanded our pound of flesh, having workshop proposals and evidence submissions concentrating on how everyone was at fault or we could just say, well, "let's let this slide" and concentrate on what's really important here, i.e. clarifying policy, to prevent similar incidents from reoccurring. Salvio Let's talk about it! 14:36, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- I understand what you are saying, understanding does not mean agreement with everything but I do understand the viewpoint. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 14:39, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- I don't want people to necessarily agree with me. This was what we thought would be the best forward; it was our opinion and others may certainly disagree. I, however, wanted to clarify that we had our reasons to act the way we did and that they were not nepotistic in nature. Salvio Let's talk about it! 15:02, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

Just a heads up...
Hey, just a heads up... I happened to come across this user when scrolling through my watchlist: User:TheNEWredPenof Doom. Could it be this user? I've seen TheRedPenOfDoom in my watchlist before and didn't think it would be them. I've also notified TheRedPenOfDoom about the new user as well. I know you're the blocking admin for the User:RedPenOfDoom, so that is why I'm letting you know. Corkythehornetfan 08:41, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message, but I'm afraid I can't find any user named "User:TheNEWredPenof Doom." Could I please ask you to check your spelling? Thanks. Salvio Let's talk about it! 09:18, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry, here it is Special:Contributions/TheNEWredPenof Doom. I now realize I put "User:" in the link above when it shouldn't be there! They edited the University of North Dakota article. Corkythehornetfan 09:23, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
- D'oh, I didn't notice the "user:" in the link either... Anyway, I've now blocked the account for impersonation. Thanks for reporting him. Salvio Let's talk about it! 09:30, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
