Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Kashmiri Muslims have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 09:29, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to History of Azad Kashmir. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Zsohl(Talk) 11:02, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Do you think it is neutral to only write "Azad Kashmir" while mentioning about its *history ? "Azad Kashmir" is the name only used by Pakistan. But that is not the name it has . India call it "Pakistan Occupied Kashmir". Since it is a disputed area it is justified to use both names and partically so because we are talking about *History here. Thanks. Hello, SatyaAmarRahe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to History of Azad Kashmir does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Kautilya3 (talk) 13:36, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Introduction to contentious topics

edit

You have recently been editing India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Be true to the information or state the reason otherwise.

Please refrain from uploading misinformation or otherwise wikipedia may lose its credibility.

SatyaAmarRahe (talk) 07:28, 2 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
We'll lose our credibility if we don't require editor to use [[WP:RS}reliably published sources]] (eg not blogs - and I've reverted an edit of yours that used one) and to represent them correctly. I doubt you've read A History of Islamic Societies By Ira M. Lapidus yet you changed the text sourced to that book. Doug Weller talk 08:22, 2 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

"due to high rate of breeding among the muslim community and converting people to islam by hook or crook."

edit

Adding this to Muslim world and making it look like it was sourced looks like WP:VANDALISM and uses language we'd never use. And don't you know how to use upper case? It also looks like an attack on Muslims - note that I've changed the alert you were given earlier to a more detailed one. Doug Weller talk 08:24, 2 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Warning

edit

If you persist in your tendentious anti-Muslim and nationalist editing such as here, here, here, here, and here (note: this is just a small selection), you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This is a particularly egregious example. Bishonen | tålk 12:35, 2 February 2023 (UTC).Reply

Blocked

edit

Your unsourced attack here on a journalist follows the pattern you were warned about above, as well as grievously violating our Biographies of living people policy. You have been blocked for a month. You can request unblock from an uninvolved administrator by placing {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page. Bishonen | tålk 20:24, 4 February 2023 (UTC).Reply

  Hello, I'm Re Packer&Tracker. I noticed that you recently removed content from Mahmud of Ghazna without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Re Packer&Tracker (talk) 15:25, 22 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to The Buddha, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Final warning

edit

Any more nationalist editing as you have now done at The Buddha and History of Azad Kashmir, or battleground posting as you did here, and you will be blocked for good from Wikipedia. And please start using explanatory edit summaries right now (please follow the link and read the help page on edit summaries). They are important for the convenience of other editors, as you have already been told. Also start using article talkpages when your article edits are reverted, instead of trying to ram through your versions without discussion. I can't see that you have edited a single article talkpage yet, even though you have been reverted many times. Bishonen | tålk 13:13, 27 March 2023 (UTC).Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for using Wikipedia as a battleground after clear warnings.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:21, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
