Natashia Lewis

Thanks for patrolling new pages, but WP:CSD#A11 was not the right tag for that page - it is for a new word or new religion, not a person. If you have strong evidence that the person does not exist, or the claims were ludicrous (captain of Manchester United at age 13, flies to the moon every day, that kind of thing) then {{db-hoax}} would do; but for unsourced but not impossible claims like this, the right tag would be {{subst:Prod blp}} which gives the author a week to produce some source.

What I have done with this one is userfy it to User:Reader2016/Natashia Lewis and point the author to [[WP:BLP] and WP:V.

Check out WP:NPP. There is also good advice at WP:10CSD and WP:A7M. If you are in doubt whether or how to tag something, you can always leave it and see what someone else does - that's a good way to learn. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 10:39, 12 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

YUDMIK - Draft page: GOBI Corporation

edit

Hi, Scotsman18! I am not sure how this chat works. Anyways, I first created the page about a major Mongolian company in the cashmere industry, which is mentioned in another Wikipedia article on Mongolian economy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Mongolia) - Gobi Corporation (Gobi Cashmere). Since I am a first time contributor to Wikipedia, I was advised to add more links from public sources, which apparently I did. And then in a couple of minutes I received a "Speedy Deletion Note" on this article. The article is devoted to a particular organisation, a major company both in the world cashmere production and in the Mongolian economy. There are other examples of such articles: a major textiles producer Hermes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermès) and a major Mining Company in Mongolia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongolia_Energy_Corporation). How is the article in question considered promotion? Please advise, what should I do to change your opinion and how we could proceed with drafting the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yudmik (talkcontribs) 12:21, 12 May 2016 (UTC) Yudmik (talk) 12:22, 12 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
