Dear Seadart,

I'm Francois, from the Warwick Economics Summit. We are a student-run conference much like the St. Gallen Symposium. We would like to create a wikipedia article, but this has been blocked by a user named RHaworth, who doesn't think our conference is 'notable' enough. He has suggested that I find a sponsor from another similar conference to create the article on my behalf. I was wondering if you would be happy to collaborate on this project. Kind regards,

Thanks for your prompt reply. Well, it's always discussable if a certain topic is relevant or not, but in my opinion a conference which attracted relevant speakes which you seem to have with UK ministers, Nobel Laureates etc. So what I think is more your problem is the quality of the article since it's basically only a lengthily explained list of your speakers. Try more to explain the context, the goal, why it was founded, what where the relevant topics etc. I would not even go into each summit, nobody wants to read a list of your summits, sorry. Also I would reduce the speakers to a box or alike and only list them in the text if they have contributed something so important that you wanna discuss it specifically. Finally, you have far too many pictures in your article. Every picture in an article should add a specific value, otherwise it should not be included. So in general, I can only recommend to think of Wikipedia as a traditional encyclopedia such as the Encyclopedia Britannica and therefore write articles in a style that would be appropriat in there. In your case also try to have a look at good existing articles in that area besides the St. Gallen Symposium maybe have also a look e.g. at the article about the World Economic Forum. I think that's everything I can contribute on a general level. If you have any specific question or a revised version I am more than willing to provide further help.
