March 2024

Hi Seananony! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at JD_Vance that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. BBQboffingrill me 06:13, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Christopher Hitchens, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Discovery. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 21:37, 5 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Inquiry to relevant reference for Kamala Harris

edit

Hello, User:Seananony

  • Regarding the CNN interview, User:Goodtiming8871 created a new summary of Kamala Harris’ CNN interview yesterday with several references. And there is a lot more detail added today on Kamala Harris’s policies. However, it seems that the details have been added in a way that makes it almost impossible to check each item individually. For the additional items you've contributed to, could you please add references to each item individually? or remove any that aren't referenced? "Asked about border security, she cited her support for the bipartisan bill H.R. 2, or the "Secure the Border Act", that was scuttled in the Senate after republicans opposed it, and which would have drastically restricted the asylum process, required United States employers to verify that employees were not undocumented under penalty of prison, built a border wall, defunded nonprofits that provide services to undocumented immigrants, and allowed the DHS to close the border entirely if it determines doing so is necessary."

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:53, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
