January 2021

  Hello, I'm Walrus Ji. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bhagyalakshmi temple, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Segaton, Times of India is not considered a reliable source. specially not for Historical claims. Please discuss on the talk page. Walrus Ji (talk) 08:15, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bhagyalakshmi temple; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Walrus Ji (talk) 08:22, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Citations are required for claims such as on Turtle

edit

Hi, the basic principle of Wikipedia is that facts are verifiable (WP:V), which means they are cited (WP:CITE) to reliable sources (WP:RS).

You MUST NOT add things that you personally believe or "know" to be true, as nobody else has access to that source of information, it is totally unverifiable.

In the case of this article, the cited source give one name for the deity. To add a different name, a further RELIABLE source would be required. I do hope this is clear: it is a general principle. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:34, 3 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Need more in-depth articles discussing the web-series before mainspace.

edit

An article you recently created, Halala (Web series), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I have left a detailed message on your talk page. Segaton (talk) 09:35, 11 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I don't know how to email someone on wiki, I expected that the article would go live and that others (in the community) would add to the article, no reason really for it to be in a draft format IMHO. IrishTV (talk) 12:48, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
