"citation needed" tag/Kids Company

The consensus point that you saw in LEADCITE is about a disagreement whether text in the lead is sufficiently the same to be covered by text in the article. Have you not noticed that GA/FA articles rarely have lead citations. It's just clutter. Inexperienced editors often think that leads need citations. that's all that happened here. there's no need to build it up into an issue. DeCausa (talk) 09:15, 20 August 2015 (UTC)

I've seen editor guides that say leads don't need citations as all is covered in body the of an article. However, if an editor, as user:Vormeph did, request a citation I can't see it as a big deal to provide one and, for me, WP:LEADCITE cleary says this is fine. Kids Company

I'm taking this article off my watch list. I'm so sick time after time of having to deal with crap from editors who don't have enough experience in editing Wikipedia to know how to edit in accordance with policy. I've just got a ping from you from the article talk page. I've told you I've taken the article of my watchlist and will not be editing it. Don't ping me again. I've put a lot of work into that article turning it from nothing into something decent. I'm an experienced Wikipedia editor and I know what needs to be done to make a coherent well written article which repersents "proportionately, and, as far as possible, without bias, all of the significant views that have been published by reliable sources on a topic". I'm not prepared to waste my time struggling with editors who don't understand the basics. So, do what you want with the article, I'm not interested. 05:11, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

To be fair, you didn't say you wouldn't be editing. In pinging you I was replying to your contribution on the article's Talk page. As for inexperienced editors, if that's what WP was all about there'd never been any new contributors. I think with your plethora of contributions to the article, you became personally invested in it and overly-protective. You've reverted numerous edits not allowing others to have their say when you disagreed with them, even with RS. For me, consensus involves give and take and there's been surprisingly and disappointingly little giving on your part. Selector99 (talk) 11:21, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

This thread is forum shopping and IDHT behavior. Hamster totally reordered talk page sections, placing them in opposite order and thus changing the meaning and progression. They also changed headings made by others, and also created an improperly formed RfC to hijack the discussion. All is now restored. We had a consensus until this disruption occurred. This is massive IDHT behavior, and this thread should be closed. Such behavior should not be rewarded. Hamster should be blocked for this. -- {{u|BullRangifer}} {Talk} 19:59, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
