Re-opening of closed discussion

edit

Do not, ever, revert an administrative action again made by me or any other administrator. Your personal disagreement with an obvious consensus does not a consensus make. (This is your only warning.) Coffee // have a cup // beans // 21:39, 20 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Now look here, closing discussions in ITN is not an administrative action. Any one can do it, and you can hardly call it a snow close, since you closed it there was 1 who opposes but clearly says that he will support when proper page is found + the one who started it and 4 opposes. You throwing around your administrator status is frankly annoying. I suggest you open it again or take this to ANI SeraV (talk) 21:50, 20 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Anyone cannot do it, ITN is admin-only protected which means it literally requires an administrator to post a canididate. This isn't a discussion, (and being an administrator isn't a "status"). Coffee // have a cup // beans // 21:56, 20 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes posting blurbs in main page requires administrator, nothing else, I suggest you find these out before starting these fights. Your trying to claim that closing discussion is administrative action, it is not. SeraV (talk) 21:58, 20 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
1. I suggest you improve your English. 2. I've been an admin here for over 7 years, so please don't attempt to educate me on how this site works. Yes, non-admins can close discussions as is explained in WP:NAC... but when an admin closes any discussion, that is an action completed under the authority of the community (in other words, an administrative action that cannot just be reverted without major discussion). 3. WP:SNOW closes happen quite frequently at WP:ITNC and elsewhere on the site. They're done in order to prevent editors' time being wasted needlessly. 4. I'm not "starting ... fights", I'm firmly instructing you on behalf of the community what not to do. So, please try to cooperate instead of getting defensive for being asked to not disrupt our processes. Coffee // have a cup // beans // 01:09, 21 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
1. Oh very mature, great administrator you are. 2. I can attempt to educate you just fine if I think you are wrong, nonetheless I have asked some other administrator about this, hopefully he answers. 3. This discussion wasn't WP:SNOW when you closed it it was only 4 opposes and 1 who clearly said he support when proper article is found, plus me when I voted and nominator that is 4 versus 3. You can't go around claiming that that is a snow close. Your nice essays snowball clause clearly fails. 4. You're being just as disruptive by not allowing an discussion in a nomination to run it course when it is warranted. SeraV (talk) 08:07, 21 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Haha, thank you. Your comment is appreciated. I can't say that I wasn't annoyed by this, but I will let it be. SeraV (talk) 23:42, 21 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
