Help
On an unrelated note, can you do two tasks that I was unable to do:
1. Move Kankuro (disambiguation) to Kankuro (no need for a superfluous title)
2. See if you can fix this template, Talk:Hannibal Lecter/Archives. I created it for the Hannibal Lecter talk page as a way to hide the archive links there. All one has to do is click the show button and they'll appear; I meant to create one for my talk page as well. However, I was unable to figure out how to add the two archived links there. Can you help?
Lord Sesshomaru
- Done and done, and I also created your new archive box for you. :-) —David Levy 18:44, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- My many thanks, this is just what I wanted! I am truly grateful. {^_^} Lord Sesshomaru

Ricky Banderas
- Hey man, it has been a while. About Banderas, besides the video there's a bunch of unreliable pro wrestling sites and one somewhat reliable source in the Wrestling Observer, however I believe Youtube is a reliable source here since they and TNA have a exclusivity (Sorry I can't remember if that is the proper spelling of that) deal, in this case its more than obvious based on this edition of TNA today in wich they anounce with fanfare that "Ricky Banderas" has singned with TNA and they end the segment saying Mitchell's character has "taken interest" in him. Then is the promo that I already listed where Cosme plays the role of the character. Of course I already knew BlueShrek's personality and Iknow he is constantly involved in edit wars, specially with TJ Spike, so after reverting him a few times I just let it be. Either way its good talking to you, cheers. -凶 01:51, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Which one of them? I have kept my distance from the page to avoid any further confrontation with BlueSherk he does have a history of being uncivil wich I noted while leaving a message in his talk page trying to explain this wich was followed by a bunch of harrasing messages. -凶 02:11, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- This [site has always been the most reliable source in Puerto Rico, they have always been in contact with Cosme and other international wrestlers from the island, there is are also a report by the Observer reporting the identity of the "Monster" but this one is more accurate that won't keep Shrek from reverting though. -凶 02:32, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I would do it myself but I sincerely want to stay as far away from this guy as possible, he is a psycho! he just admited he stalks my talk page here, so as a favor I ask of you to add it, I will report him personally if he keeps up with this WP:OWN violation. -凶 02:42, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I am not afraid of him, but I want to avoid him before my Latin blood boils and I finish blocked for flaming him for his psycopathic behaviour. -凶 02:53, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
User report
BlueShrek (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) has been doing some disruptive edits around Wikipedia and has been trolling & stalking me and DDF. I've reported him to another sysop, Yamla, but Yamla still hasn't done any quick action upon this user. I get the feeling that he does this only to non-sysops and is being very careful not to make a personal attack, etc., but is currently trolling my user talk page as well as DDF's. Can you perform a CheckUser or block him or something? For evidence, see the links at User_talk:Sesshomaru#Hey, User talk:Yamla#BlueShrek (talk · contribs), User talk:Yamla#Harassment and DDF's talk history page. I suspect he is either a sockpuppet or just a very bothersome troll. Lord Sesshomaru
- Sorry, I'm too busy to investigate this matter at the moment. I suggest that you post a request at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. —David Levy 03:13, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your honesty. Lord Sesshomaru
- Wow, I just read your comment on Yamla's talk page and realized something, if he is a sockpuppet of the user you named that explains why he is stalking me so agressively, I once traded words [14] with a sockpuppet of that user (who at the same time is a sock of another user) because he was of all things edit warring, thanks for noticing that now I understand what is going on here. -凶 03:21, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I left a note on Chrislk02's talk page, he was the admin that blocked Wrestlinglover420 who is the original puppeter, I am sure he knows WL's MO. Reports about socks can take hours in WP:AIV, I reported a obvious sock of Wiki En Wiki with diffs and all last weekend and it took them two hours to block it. -凶 03:45, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Eh, well, I filed a Checkuser request. I don't think it's very good, though. Lookit here. Lychosis T/C 05:38, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Regardless of how good it is if they are proven to be socks they will probably be blocked for being used as block evading socks. -凶 05:51, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks guys. Yamla hasn't responded so the CheckUser was a smart choice. Lord Sesshomaru

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Spider-Man: Friend or Foe. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Unblock request
Sesshomaru (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Actually, I'm sure I reverted BlueShrek's unconstructive edits on that page three times, see the Spider-Man: Friend or Foe history page. After my second revert, I corrected the External links section at that article. Is there a way to solve this without blocking us both? Might I add that BlueShrek is a likely sockpuppet, please see Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Wrestlinglover420. Lord Sesshomaru 17:56, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Decline reason:
3RR is not a guarantee of three free reverts each day. If you had discussed without reverting him in the first place, he wouldn't have had the chance to revert you for a second, third, and fourth time. Then this case wouldn't have ended up at 3RR in the first place. You both participated in the edit war, and accusations of sock puppetry won't change that. — Kafziel Talk 19:48, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
CheckUser
The results of the CheckUser report is in: please see Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Wrestlinglover420. BlueShrek is not a sock of Wreslinglover420, but he is possibly another incarnate of TheManWhoLaughs. According to the user who performed the check, both users are sharing the same number of dynamic ips. Does this justify a permanent block? I'd ask Yamla or Deskana to look into this, but they never respond quickly to my request as you do. Thanks. Lord Sesshomaru
- Actually, the IP addresses used by Wreslinglover420 cannot be determined (because the records have expired). TheManWhoLaughs might be the same individual, but the mere possibility doesn't warrant a block. —David Levy 18:52, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
Bleach
The reasoning, as I understand it, is that "series" is misleading. The article discusses the manga as a focal point, with the anime discussed as the main corollary. "Series" would imply a succession of unique media spun-off from one single concept. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 02:13, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- There doesn't need to be an anime page because the two aren't distinct, nor that long for that matter. The current disambig is fine. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 03:43, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- I suppose. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:17, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- First three are fine, the first two aren't unless you're talking about the character type. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:26, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- They're fine. They're race traits. — Someguy0830 (T | C)
- Oh, and sign your posts with the ~~~~. You don't timestamp them or include a link to either your user or talk page. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:35, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- They're not warriors. That would imply organization. They're just evil. And no, the year thing would go on the Hollow page, not the list page. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 08:07, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Near as I can figure your edits are fine. I moved a few things around. "Hollows" is better off redirecting to the word hollow than character type. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 21:29, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Categories
I'm not familiar with the characters, but if they're in any of the sub cats, they shouldn't be in the main one. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 05:36, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- The point is to move them into more specific fictional character categories. Logically, the parent should be practically empty, except for lists and maybe the stray character. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 05:41, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- If you know a more specific category for them, then move them. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 05:47, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Sasuke Uchiha
I have been having to rely on Wii browser due to issues with my laptop. For some reason it will delete portions of a section when trying to edit if said section is very long. It's happened to me before with Budokai Tenkaichi 2. I have to be careful trying to edit as certain sections may be too long, which I know now includes Sasuke's ability section. Kenny
Shouldn't the title Kenny (Kenneth) be moved to Kenny (Highlander) or Kenny (Highlander: The Series)? Maybe Kenneth (Highlander) or Kenneth (Highlander: The Series)? Lord Sesshomaru
- I've moved the article to Kenny (Highlander) (which reflects the disambiguation convention apparently in use for this program). —David Levy 22:21, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks David. Lord Sesshomaru
- Could you please delete this redirect, Kenny (Kenneth)? I tried putting it up for speedy but this person said otherwise. Is it really worth listing it there? I see it obviously as superfluous. Lord Sesshomaru
- TexasAndroid was correct in stating that the redirect does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion. Instead, I've changed its target to Kenny. You're still welcome to list it at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion, of course. —David Levy 06:31, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
- To be honest, I'm lazy about learning how to deal with that. Well, I guess you were right in changing the redirect location though. If you put it up for discussion, however, I'll support you. :} Lord Sesshomaru
- It probably is better to leave the redirect in place. It isn't doing any harm, and someone might search for the article under the old title (at which point he/she will find a link to the new title). —David Levy 06:39, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

David, its a good thing one of Wikizeta's edits reminded me of something; I've been trying forever to correct this page, Portal:Dragon Ball/Things you can do. Is there some wrong format ( template? ) I'm using here? Why it doesn't become like the "Topics" box at Portal:Naruto is beyond me. Lord Sesshomaru
- Those were template calls, but there was no template. I created one and added it to the page. —David Levy 19:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Naruto Uzumaki
I own volumes 1-13, and have the chapters from 118-140 in Shonen Jump issues, but I see no reason why ISBN is needed at all, it is much more useful for the general public and for Wikipedia to simply list the volume number. Then again, I'm not a professional. And besides, they have two ISBN codes, so I don't know which to choose. User:Artist Formerly Known As Whocares, 16:01 (Eastern Standard Time), 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Pyrokinesis
Probably should have said something, but the "in fiction" article was a lot of original research and the original article was stub-like anyway... so it was a non controversial edit, which had already been proposed. Anyway, sorry for any Poke-inconveniences.~ZytheTalk to me! 17:36, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Re: Orochimaru
Obviously I don't agree with him being a monster. Every character in Category:Fictional monsters has always been (or at least frequently is) a monster. Orochimaru doesn't become a giant snake until many years after his birth, and even then he only assumes the form for brief periods of time every few years. Categorizing him as a snake suffices. ~SnapperTo 20:42, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Strange shortcuts
Aren't redirects like MOS:DP and MOS:DAB against some Wikipedia policy? I'm sure I've seen it once before, I just can't recall what else it was about exactly. Should these two redirects be deleted? Lord Sesshomaru
- Are you available? Lord Sesshomaru
- Hello! Sorry, I overlooked your inquiry until you posted the follow-up. I'm unaware of a formal policy regarding this matter. I personally advocate expanding the shortcut system to include additional prefixes (because this would reduce the rate at which shortcuts are used up), so these seem fine to me (though there shouldn't be so many listed).
- Incidentally, I haven't forgotten about posting that note at Wikipedia talk:Shortcut. I've just been very busy. —David Levy 07:50, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- So I've noticed. Take your time, I'll ask tomorrow about shortcuts without the "WP" at a place where they deal with that. Or do you suggest otherwise? Lord Sesshomaru
- It can't hurt to initiate discussion, but non-"WP" shortcuts have been around for quite some time, so consensus for their use appears to have been established. —David Levy 07:57, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't know they were around that long. Lord Sesshomaru
- Yeah, these two have existed since late 2005, and plenty of others—particularly the some of the "WT" (Wikipedia talk) shortcuts—have been around longer. —David Levy 08:08, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Trademark
Uh, WHIRLPOOL should be moved to Whirlpool (hash) per WP:MOS-TM. That is a trademark, which should definitely be corrected. Lord Sesshomaru
- The prevailing disambiguation convention appears to be "Name (cryptography)," so I've moved the article to Whirlpool (cryptography). —David Levy 03:40, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- I wasn't sure what the subject was, thanks for figuring that out. Oh, and make sure those double redirects are fixed. I'll even do some if you'd like. Cheers. Lord Sesshomaru
- I took care of that. :-) —David Levy 03:44, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Re:Shinigami lifespan
For all practical purposes, shinigami are humans with exceptionally long lifespans. You simply don't see them performing everyday functions because it's irrelevant to the everyday manga reader. The everyday reader is more concerned with Ichigo slicing people up with a four-foot long sword than anything else. As for aging, they do age, and when they die, they are reincarnated as a human soul with no past memories. The effects of aging are only really seen with Yamamoto, but all the captains and lieutenants are (at least) hundreds of years old. His age not seemingly affecting him is because he has two thousand years of battle experience, a massive amount of spirit energy, and one of the strongest zanpakutō in Soul Society. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 04:40, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- And on another note, when you sign your posts, use four tildes (~~~~) instead of placing a link to your contributions. Not only does it display the date and time, it makes it easier to get to your talk page. If you wish to make a custom signature, then go to your preferences. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 05:08, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Renji eating cake in the most recent filler episode. Yachiru eating sweets, cakes, and assorted things in various episodes, omake chapters, and so on. Rangiku, Kira, and Hisagi drinking after the conclusion of the Soul Society arc. Shunsui drinking sake when confronting Chad during the Soul Society arc. So on and such forth. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 05:56, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, they can have kids, and you can make the obvious conclusion from that. And I wouldn't say that all arrancar possess those attributes. Nell, for instance, does not have the ability to fly or have super strength. For all the current ones that have articles (the Espada and Wonderwice), however, they likely do possess those attributes. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 06:08, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- As far as I can see. Some of the inclusions are questionable, as they have never really demonstrated those attributes. However, given their rank and relative level of power, this is largely applicable. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 06:46, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- "Expert" is a bit of a vain term. I do read the series frequently, and am up to date with the current events. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact me however. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 07:04, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Is there a reason you sign with 3 tildes instead of 4? Your signature is omitting the timestamp which is actually very useful when sorting out historical conversations.Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 18:39, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Personally, I hate the timestamp, that's why I've resorted to the contributions page. I know that there are certain pages where its required (that's when I do use 4 tildes) and some users even ask me to leave a timestamp at their page, which I certainly do upon their request. Of course, if there was a policy that enforced that ugly timestamp, I'd have no choice but to do it. What I want to know from you is why did you remove that whole prolly section? Lord Sesshomaru

Hi,
I reverted your alteration of the template on broccoli - so far as I can find, the uses of the double-l spelling is all mis-spelling, and I'll try to correct them today. In any case, there is no main page using that word, so no need for that particular template.

Tro**
I kindly ask that you limit your usage of the word troll. Not everybody is a troll. I have seen you use it alot latley, most recently removing questions from a curious vandal (or possibly a tester). Try to be friendly and helpful instead of cold and aloof. Remeber, dont forget to not bite the newcomers, especialyl if they are making rookie moves such as removing warnings. (That is the first thing almost anybody would do who is not familar with the wiki way. It does not mean they hage nefarious intent). Just kindly explain it to them instead of reverting there questions and igoring there request for help. Thanks! Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 17:42, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- Also, unless it has recently changed, it is not against policy for editors to remove warnings from there talk page. Sure it is bad form but warning them for it is not the best course of action. removal of warnings generally is interpreted as, "I have read and understood the message". Auto-editing
How do I enable my account to edit pages automatically while I'm out? For example, there are a multitude of Muten-Rôshi, Pyrokinesis in fiction, and some Krillin redirects that have to be corrected. Of course, I am aiming to fix only the ones on article pages not User/bot related pages or article talk pages. Do I do something at my preferences to make this possible? Lord Sesshomaru
- If I understand you correctly, it sounds as though you need to set up a bot. Please see Wikipedia:Bot policy. —David Levy 23:51, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- I've got the first two steps complete. I just don't understand the confusing final step. Can you help me on this? Oh, my bot's name is User:CorrectBot. Is it formatted about right? Lord Sesshomaru 01:08, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- Man, I don't want to lose the bot. Can you answer this last question of mine at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/CorrectBot? If you're not sure how to reply to my question there, if you know of anyone that can save me from losing it all that'd be great. Lord Sesshomaru 08:01, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that I have very little knowledge of and no experience with bots. My only suggestion is that you listen to the advice provided by the members of the Bot Approvals Group (as these people know what they're talking about). I'm sorry that I'm unable to assist you further on this matter. —David Levy 08:10, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- I give up on the bot for good. It's all too complicated. What I would like to know now, if likely, is how to set the preferences in my account to make edits automatically. Example, like Lightmouse did, see these "auto"-contributions. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru 23:19, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- MediaWiki contains no such option. Lightmouse might be running a script that enables users to manually perform such edits with greater ease. —David Levy 01:47, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Name move request for Kurama
I decided to oppose the move request. I explained why here: ""Yoko" or "Demon Fox" is a title, not a name. It refers to a specific form of "Kurama," not "all" of Kurama. Likewise, the "Jaganshi" or "of the evil eye" for Hiei is also a title, not a name. With Yusuke, Keiko, and Kuwabara, those are their full names." WhisperToMe 22:23, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
I also moved "Jaganshi Hiei" back to "Hiei (YuYu Hakusho)" because I do not know if the name with the title is Hiei Jaganshi or Jaganshi Hiei. WhisperToMe 22:26, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Listen, Sesshomaru, I read the YuYu Hakusho manga and I watched the official series. Kurama is only properly referred to as "Yoko Kurama" and "Demon Fox Kurama" when he is in that specific form. "Kurama" can refer to both Shuichi Minamino form and the demon fox form.
Also, there is no THE licensor. FUNimation handles the anime, VIZ Media handles the manga, and one of the movies is handled by U. S. Manga Corps. WhisperToMe 23:33, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
When you go to the YYH website, look at Kurama's profile- his spirit skills include:
"Yoko Kurama - Fifteen years before the Dark Tournament, the spirit fox Yoko Kurama was thought to have been killed while escaping from a botched burglary. In desperation he hid himself in the world of the living, using a human body to slowly recover his energy. Kurama reverted to his true form after Ura Urashima unleashed the power of the Idunn Box. "
In other words, "Yoko Kurama" specifically refers to Kurama's true form. FUNi simply screwed up while making that poll. Naming Kurama "Yoko Kurama" would be like calling Son Goku "Super Saiyan Goku." WhisperToMe 23:47, 5 August 2007 (UTC)"
"There is no free alternative to displaying the Yu Yu Hakusho manga logo." is my fair use rationale statement :) WhisperToMe 04:35, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
I replaced the licenses - they are non-free television screenshots that are copyrighted. The pics should stay on Wikipedia, but I changed the licenses. WhisperToMe 05:02, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
Isn't it a wiretap? WhisperToMe 05:53, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
If the police wanted to discover the location of the caller, use "traced" - If the police wanted to listen to the contents of the call, use "wiretapped" WhisperToMe 06:01, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
You are welcome :) WhisperToMe 06:11, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
