This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Louie Pacheco Saenz, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://labrothers.org/2010-bio-louie.shtml.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Louie Pacheco Saenz
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Louie Pacheco Saenz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Louie Pacheco Saenz
editI see that at Talk:Louie Pacheco Saenz you wrote :
The content on the www.labrothers.org was written by me as the President of that club/organization. As the current President and author of that content I give full permission and approval to Wikipedia to publish and use the content as is. The content on the LABrothers.org site is not copy righted and is 100% ok to use here and as mention before as the Original creator, author and president of that organization I have full discretion on how to use the information. here is my email if any further questions need answers. thank you so much and please feel free to contact me... Louie Pacheco Saenz (email address removed)
There are several issues here. Firstly, if you are president of the club then you have a conflict of interest, and should not be writing on the subject. Secondly, we cannot take the word of anyone who comes along to Wikipedia and claims to be the owner of copyright. This is why the copyright notice above links to instructions how to donate copyright material. Thirdly, the web page from which the material was copied says "© 2009 Los Angeles Band of Brothers", which appears to contradict your statement that the content "is not copy righted". Fourthly, whatever the copyright status may be, the article would have been deleted anyway as it was unambiguously promotional in content. In addition, I have made a web search, and I see no indication that Louie Pacheco Saenz satisfies Wikipedia's notability standards. The most relevant information is to be found in the general notability guideline and the guideline on notability of people. Also relevant is the guideline on reliable sources. Finally, I have removed your email address from the above quote. It is of course up to you if you wish to post your email address online, but I would not recommend it. A better way of making email contact available is to enable email in your Wikipedia preferences. That way another user can send you an email without knowing your email address.
