Asim Munir
editHi. Your adding of allegations to the Asim Munir page is pretty much a repeat of the public life subpage. Do you mind, for presentation purposes, remove it? If you want to add anything else, I ask you to add it to the Public life section. VirtualVagabond (talk) 21:31, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- I mean public image VirtualVagabond (talk) 21:31, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- I have merged the two sections and avoided repetition of material. Thanks for the suggestion. Shaeel1992 (talk) 01:44, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- The reference you have given does not have name of Asim Munir, so it should not be there, as the page Asim Munir profile. WaseemAbbaass (talk) 04:57, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- Please see the talk section of the page. I have provided details about how the references relate to Asim Munir. Shaeel1992 (talk) 19:34, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

Request
editHello, there is a certain editor on the page of Asim Munir who repeatedly stamps out editing contributions and does not bother to cooperate. He has been doing this for a continuous period of time and it has gone too long unchecked. I have tried to make a notice to the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, but it’s not allowing me for some reason. On your own accord, look at the case on the Wikipedia page, and if you deem it fit by only your own choice, please make a case at the administrator’s noticeboard. Thanks. VirtualVagabond (talk) 02:30, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the suggestion. I have left a note on his talk page mentioning that he needs to stop disruptive editing, as it is required by Wikipedia before posting on administrators noticeboard. If he continues, I will post it on the administrators noticeboard. Shaeel1992 (talk) 16:02, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, it’s been done again, twice. Another account has started doing this, when he did it, it was reverted but now he has done it again by removing a part of the public image paragraph. Funnily enough, it is a new account that is interested in Asim Munir’s page and he uses the same argument as WaseemAbbass (despite it being debunked in the talk page) , giving me reason to consider a possibility that DeDefeender is WaseemAbbass’ sockpuppet (this is only a possibility, I am not calling anybody a definite sockpuppet). This would make sense as pressure has been amounted on WaseemAbbass’ talk page with two disruptive editing warnings in just the last 10 days. Please see that as you wish only on your own accord. VirtualVagabond (talk) 12:23, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for highlighting it. I have undid his revisions and I have left a note on the talk page. Unfortunately, I can't claim he is a sockpuppet without any evidence. So we have to treat him as a separate user and abide by Wikipedia rules (which mention that we need to leave a message before reporting him). Shaeel1992 (talk) 05:01, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- It’s been done again, no attempt at using the talk page was used. :/ VirtualVagabond (talk) 06:48, 23 January 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
editYou have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
