There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Request reason:

Hello, I would like take a moment to address the two claims made by user Jimfbleak. I'm really sorry if it seems like this is an account related to some organisation but really, it isn't. I am an actual individual and if you would ask me to prove it in any way whatsoever I would be glad to. The only reason I put a company's name in my username was because I wanted to make my first page about that particular company and while searching online about how to create a wikipedia article, I saw that someone else had the page title as their Sandbox title (I think it was next to their name too) so I thought it would somehow help me if I also have the title of the page I wanted to create in my name to move the page to the mainspace later. That's why I created this account with that username. Looking back, it was an honest mistake because I was completely new to working on Wikipedia so I had 0 clue. However, afterwards when I did more research and actually understood the process of creating articles, I tried to look for ways to change my username but couldn't find the option anywhere on the Wikipedia interface. Coming to the second point about using this account for advertising or promotion, I really had no intention of doing so. I read a lot of articles on startups and simply followed the language that has been used on these published pages. Apart from that, I went through all the requirements of creating an article on Wikipedia. I made it a point to be as neutral as I could and included relevant citations from really good online sources like Forbes and Entrepreneur to support my text since the company is notable. I did everything I possibly could, however, this was my first article so there was room for error. Since editing Wikipedia pages is easy, I thought someone experienced would tell me on my talkpage if anything was wrong with some parts of my text and I would happily take their suggestions and improve the article. I was really shocked to see that I have been "blocked indefinitely". I had read that the Wikipedia community is very helpful and I would really appreciate if instead of blocking me, someone would let me know what was wrong with the article I posted and where it was lacking so I can improve my article creation and editing skills and further contribute to the Wikipedia community positively. I would be really grateful if you review my request.

Decline reason:

I have determined via off-wiki evidence that you are attempting to mislead us here. Despite your claim that you are unrelated to Scanta, I have determined this is false. You are directly and, frankly, blatantly violating WP:COI and WP:PAID, and your edits have been violating WP:PROMO. As a result, I am declining this unblock request. In the future, you may find honestly serves you better than misdirection. Yamla (talk) 16:58, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Block evasion

This user has engaged in block evasion, as Ashley Vanryan, to continue spamming Wikipedia. --Yamla (talk) 10:28, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
