Good afternoon. Would it be possible to reconsider my blocked from editing status? The errors that I made previously will not happen again SilverFox220861 (talk) 14:05, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I have read through the reasons for my blocking and understand fully where I made violations. These included copywrite and advertising and that through my niavity with using Wikipedia I used language that promoted a person or organisation whilst uploading information for The Swiss Hotel School South Africa. I understand why this was considered self promoting. Before deletion I attempted to correct this info. I am not a paid contributor and am not hired to create articles. Please reconsider my blocking so that I can become a useful contributor to Wikipedia. I agree to abide by the rules and understand the need to reference correctly. My original submission included some cut and paste which also violated the rules of Wikipedia. I am an educator and believe that I can be a worthwhile citizen of Wikipedia given the chance to contribute within the rules. My apologies for using the platform for unambiguous advertingSilverFox220861 (talk) 03:44, 12 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Just based on this request and your edits I do not believe for a second that you have no paid relationship with this school. You do not have to be specifically paid to edit to be a paid editor, any paid relationship triggers the disclosure requirement. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 08:26, 12 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I understand your reply and of course I do have a paid relationship with the school. I did not hide that I actually included that in my submission. I would like you to consider that I would like a chance to be a contributor to Wikipedia and although my first attempts broke all the rules I think I could be of value. However I do respect your rejection.
