Generally
editI am prepared to consider writing one or two stand-alone, introductory pages that would form the basis of an explanation for some of the material in the pages that I've worked on. The structuralism page isn't too bad but there is nothing on paradigmatic analysis so that would be a good place to start. The material on semiotics is somewhat superficial as are the subelements on particular individuals. . . Why don't you e-mail me and we can try to agree a strategy for pooling resources on aesthetics and semiotics, and ethics (which I taught for a year or two some twenty years ago). --David91 18:07, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Stubs
editI am glad I could help with moving Aesthetics to the proper stub template (it is just part of the service from WP:WSS). Based upon your area of interest, you may be interested in knowing about {{Philo-stub}}, the template for philosophy stubs, for your future endeavors. --Allen3 talk July 2, 2005 18:06 (UTC)

Small Cow-Related Note
editPuns concerning cows are quite entertaining.
Tautology
editYou are of course right. There is a difference. Do we need to list both in the article though? Andycjp 6th August 2005

I reverted this diff: [1] because I can't see what the summary "removed confusing paragraph about commutativity -- see discussion page" is referring to. Feel free to reply here or anywhere. –EdC 05:07, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- Please see the very bottom of the relevant talk page where users are expressing their confusion. --Slac 05:12, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- Ah... that was about the example; you could have removed the example and left the rest of the paragraph. I've replaced it with a simpler example. –EdC 06:32, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

editThanks for uploading Image:Quetzalcoatl (Stargate) 1.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
